I know what you're saying but I think there's a subtle difference - I doubt any of us object to punters who turn up when they should, pay without being asked and so on, but I interpret these as the people where the pleasantness and behaviour seems contrived or put on and not the way they would naturally behave (rather than the nice everyday punters who are pleasant and behave how they should because it wouldn't occur to them to be any other way). The ones who do everything as if they're ticking it off a list that they need to remember.

It makes me think that they know how they would instinctively speak to me and treat me if they didn't make a concerted effort to follow the 'rules', and that they also know they would never get a booking if they dropped the act. It's not a pleasant thought.

They bring their own condoms (mostly sagamis) /Bluetooth speaker/towel/flannel, make it very clear they've read all about you. Confirm services and price 3 times
Read everything on your profile and quiz you on it (your profile says you have brown hair but its black/ are you really a student/your profile says you love pink but your bed is blue)
Stare intensely when you undress and ask about every mole/scar/birthmark and try to assess if you are indeed the dress size you claim to be ( caught one reading label in my underwear once)
Any signs of this at the booking stage and I avoid,  just because the booking is rarely pleasant,  you cant relax and you know every word, move is being scrutinised.
