The "professional punter"
« on: 19 October 2017, 04:39:26 pm »
We all know the type; the ones who are true hobbyists when it comes to escorting. I've managed to spot them a mile away now but wish I knew the signs when I first started out. I've decided to compile a checklist of signs that your punter is a professional, mainly for the newbies that should be aware they are likely to be reviewed somewhere after seeing one of these "professional punters".

Please feel free to add your points!

1. They are very clear and concise in their request to book (ie, state the day, time, services, even outfit requests)

2. They pay instantly. Because they know the drill.

3. Normally scope out your working environment.

4. Look for key indicators of service quality, that aren't actually any if your "services" (did you hang their jacket up  for them? have you offered them a drink? Is their towel fresh and being heated on the radiator? Do you turn the shower on for them? Etc etc)

5. Tend to ask some strange questions to probe information from you

6. Are always aware of the time, the time they arrived, the time they left. They may even keep their watch on and actively glance at it through the booking.

7. Most commonly try and discuss other girls during the booking (this one happens to me all the time. I don't engage)

It's almost as if they are restaurant reviewers the way they grade every aspect of the booking! Quite funny really.

Anyone else want to expand on this or is it just my crazy thoughts?

I don't have anything to add to the above right now as I need to get home, but can I PLEASE request that this stays on topic? If I need to spell it out any further, the topic is NOT review sites or their members.

Actually I do remember something I had once; a punter who turned up with a paper printout of my AW profile, presumably in case the 40 year old shortarse in the photos was a different one than me. What a bellend :D

The cringe! D: D: D:

I might be misunderstanding but I find a number of these guys say they've dated (or something similar) WGs in the past...

I?d say this is pretty spot on!
They tend to be very upfront, usually confident or pretend to be.

They sometimes ask questions that most ?non professional? punters probably won?t ask, like you said asking about girls, they may even bring up forums or ask about punters you?ve had before them or will have after them, they also tend to ask about the place you work from and if others work there.

When they come in they usually do a not so discrete look around I?ve noticed, kind of like to get s mental memory of the place.

If you?ve ever worked in Retail and come across a mystery shopper it?s exactly like that. Mystery shoppers will think they are being discrete and hiding who they really are but if you have enough experience you tend to spot them a mile off from your average shopper.  ;D

I think 1) is actually a positive for me. Clients who have seen plenty of escorts before and know the drill so know that a "professional" introduction will work best. I would far rather have this by text or phone than some wanker mumbling "yeah baby you hot, what's your postcode?"

2) for me is also a positive.

3) - I've had clients who were a bit too nosey for my liking - I had a guy early morning today who basically looked in my bin (hotel) and commented on what I'd eaten and drank the previous night, which was a bit  :-\

I've experienced all the above frequently and have never been reviewed (and hope never to be.)

Definitely the details emails with many requests and all the acronyms. To be honest, such detailed first emails are actually a turn off to me as they seem very high maintenance so I may not even reply.

8. Despite catching you on a good day and being a great booking they never come back because you're already "ticked" in their box. And that's because these guys are compulsive collectors. They tend to travel a lot to exotic countries were they can indulge very cheaply in their hobby (eg: Thailand). They're usually single or divorced and like to brag about their paid "sexual experiences"  .They're cold, polite and tend to have a lot of sex guides to the different countries.

9. They know a lot about the business. Who is who, who is busy, who is not and why, why did Jessica from Chelsea retired last year. They discuss other girls (don't engage). They can tell you whats not working on your marketing and give you great tips on how to improve it.

Strange questions?  :) Please do share.  :D

"I notice you always start work around 10am, is that because you have kids that you need to take to school first?" (No, it's because I will kill anyone who looks my way before 9.55am)

"So you always go home after work, never stay in the hotel or apartment, is that because you have a boyfriend?" (No, it's because I like to leave my "office" after my work day. Do YOU sleep in your office when you finish?)

Basically, they ask questions that are none of their business. And normally whilst you are in the middle of sex, which is very off putting.

I start at ten and I've had that one. I told him I did cage fighting practice before that on a weekday as part of my anger management regime.

I'll add in the smug attempts to ingratiate themselves with irrelevant shit that they only say because they think you want to hear it and makes them sound like a Great Punter. Recent example: "Of course I only book independent British escorts" (why would I give a fuck) ???

OMG I need to say this at least once before I die :D

I start at 6am by request (must be booked the previous night) and I've been asked if that's because I have to get to a day job. Well if that was the case I wouldn't state my availability was up to 8pm, would I, Sherlock?!

I've been asked before if I have children and I've fixed them with a Look and said "You want to talk about children during a sex session? Really?" All have immediately stammered and said "Er I was just trying to get to know you!" and I've told them that asking about kids is fine around a neighbourhood BBQ but not when you're seeing a sex worker!

They may hold the money for a second, confirming "Half hour, French kissing with tongues, oral without and come-in-mouth?" before handing it over.

I've never had anyone actually say "Right, it's 2:34 so we have an hour from now." I don't know what I would do: torn between saying "mmmm-hmmm" and then counting on being able to boot them out at 3:30 or actually blurting out "No, you booked an hour from 2:30 and you'll be out the door no later than 3:30." Honestly, while they would very likely walk out, I think for my sanity's sake that might be for the best.
