Coffee and energy drinks sap your energy. Coffeee dehydrates, can make you feel tired as you're body looses water and slows down. Energy drinks give a buzz then can overstimulate your adrenal glands giving you an energy slump later on. You could be in a constant state of dehydration and overstimulation. Try cutting them down, go decaff and increase your daily water or water mixed with 1/4 fruit juice. Before and after meals and each time you pee.
There many be other medical, lifestyle, environmental reasons to check with your doctor. eg
Do you get direct bright sunshine on your bare skin/face for at least 1 hour a day? Simple stuff like that.

there's all sorts of reasons why you can lack energy, from low vitamin d, low iron, unbalanced/poor diet, mild depression etc... You may want to get your health checked when you come back (just to make sure all is fine). i find that taking a 45 min nap at 4pm, then having an expresso at 5:00 pm fills my batteries till well into 10 pm :-)

Coffee and energy drinks won't help. Eat slow-release carbs and try to get a bit of exercise, just a walk outdoors is good. Drink plenty of water and eat every 3-4 hours.
If it continues, I would get your iron and vitamin B levels checked out, but a nanna nap mid-afternoon never hurt anyone. Try 2-3, if you get clients and lunchtime and after work.

I have known some women, who rely on ben & Jerry to boost energy output.
Unlike me, some of them are "fit"!
I noticed it works for me, too.
I know there's this health trend, exercise, eat healthy etc.
I tried that. I had no energy, in fact, much worse.

I do have 6 months rent ahead of me to save. Which could be taking over my mind and draining my energy without me realising. I feel content but maybe that strain is sapping me of something. Could be getting poor quality sleep without realising I guess.
I think thats probably true - you can get free Android apps to track your sleep so that's not hard to find out? :)
Dragging it kicking and screaming back to sex work, do you find some kinds of bookings more tiring and draining and others easier? I know if I'm tired and have been overdoing it (and working away from home usually means not eating or sleeping well) then I find doing more short bookings a lot easier than longer ones - I can easily rattle off four half hours but even the thought of one two hour (despite it being the same amount of time) makes me want to shriek.
-
Oops back to sexwork Amy I forgot! I find silent clients who don't move a muscle or say a word are strangely draining as I'm wondering why they bothered to get the money from the cashpoint, are they taking the piz or gonna jump up and go postal....saps me mojo for the rest of the day. Energy sucking vampire corpse clients.
-
Yes absolutely! I find that as well - the more emotional or intellectual input I have to put in, the more drained I feel! I make myself a baggy of energy balls - ground up dates, nuts, cocoa etc. Popping one of those after a draining client helps me a lot :-)
-
I ALWAYS slump around 3-5pm, work day or no work day; it's just how my body works. Some days I can rake bookings if they are easy, other days I will have to nap at this time. I take vitamin B12 supplements because I lack the ability to get it from my food. The difference is amazing when I take it to when I dont.
I eat really healthy, exercise regularly, sleep well and only drink coffee in the morning; I still get like this.
Try a change in diet and some supplement you may be missing.

Just realised it could also be that back at home I’m email only. Whereas when touring abroad it’s phone/whatsapp only. So the constant “hi” messages and weirdos that simply take a number off the web who timewaste are getting into my daily headspace and draining me a little. It is busy with decent clients. But all these things above, I can see now are what could be contributing to energy levels.
I definitely find it draining when I wake up to 20 missed texts that just say "Hey" or "U workin". It's like someone's kicked my energy in the arse before I've even started using it.
I have 2 bookings in the diary today and I'm already dreaming about going back to sleep. Ugh

I echo this! A perfect day for me is a few half hours. Certain clients always want 1.5 or 2hrs and I do wish they were happy with less. I know I could only advertise half hours but this I feel would be something I would regret as would lose some potential nice clients.
If I have a day indoors waiting for calls and am feeling sluggish I drink a large glass of water then go out for a walk even if to the local shopping centre for a browse. My tiredness disappears.

check your thyroid as it might be the problem.
Try to have routine for night time, try to work out once in a while as it will help with overall energy levels later on.
-
I drank iced water which benefitted in many ways of plus hydrated and some energy level increase.
I'm sick of red Bull & lucozade.
You could be tired out it can mentally exhaust you at times this job.
Get plenty sleep when you can x

Paris where do you get vitamin d12 spray?

Have you tired varying your diet? I have suffered from low energy levels in the past and went vegan for a couple of months and my energy levels realy rebounded. I went back to a meat, veggie based diet when I was pregnant as I felt i needed to , but I have largely cut out anything processed.
