Title: Stalkish "clients", a guy phoned up when I was in the area and he said he saw me
Post by: ladyinred on 06 June 2016, 06:13:55 pm
a month ago in the mall with my friend ... He also said what I was wearing, and I remember, for that particular occasion I was there, that would make sense.
He said.. "hi, I saw you Xxx centre with a fiend a month ago, I want to book you"

I didn't have words, I hunged up and I blocked him.
Would you find it disturbing as well?

Do you show your face on your pictures or was he a previous client?

I would just ignore and not respond at all.  Some guys get a kick out of letting us know then seen us somewhere.

I'm not sure I would call that stalkerish, that's just a guy that's recognised you out and about because you show your face on your profile.

In the space of 2 weeks.....I have seen 5 escorts that I recognise from their pics. One in the nail salon, one in the sunbeds, one in the bank, one on Argyle Street and one in Zara. I could probably tell you what they were wearing too.

And if I'm honest, I have a wee chuckle to myself when I see them thinking "dirty bitch" as if I'm whiter and white and not actually a whore myself lol.

If you show your face then you must expect to be recognised at some point by someone. The fact he seen you out and about and STILL wants to meet with you is probably a compliment. I seen a client the other week there in town just after I had been for a run so I wasn't exactly looking my best but I didn't care. He's one of my lovely regulars anyway.

I'm not sure the clients really done anything wrong in this case, just my opinion.

I never meet with anyone that makes me feel uncomfortable no matter how silly the reason may be so if this guy made you feel uncomfortable saying this to you then it's best you just move on and forget about it.

xx

This is another reason why I don't have face pics. It's not just punters who have a lot of spare time to nose at WG profiles lol.

Hmmmm I don't use my spare time to check out other escorts profiles as I've no interest in what other ladies are doing but I'm not going to sit here and lie and say that I don't know what about a dozen of them in my area look like.

There are loads of genuine reasons why you would be on another escorts profile without it being snooping. The main one for me is if a client contacts me through AW about a potential booking then I will look at his feedback to see who he's seen and then take it from there.

I don't really look at WG profiles, and if I occasionally do, I would never recognise them on the street lol, I don't like to stare at strangers, I don't like when someone stares at me

Do you recognise a girl from AW in public just after 2min of looking at her profile?
I don't believe you...
You must be staring quite a lot...

I don't really care if you don't believe me.

I don't stare but I do have eyeballs and 2 of the girls in particular stick out like a sore thumb, you couldn't miss them. I won't describe them incase they are members of this site. The other one was standing beside me in a very long bank que. One was sitting right next to me getting her nails done and the other was sitting right next to me in the sunbeds while it was practically qued out the door with the good weather.

I'm not sure why your being bitchy towards me? Is it because I disagreed with you calling the client a stalker because YOU show your face on your profile and because he seen you in town with his eyeballs and then tried to book you?

Definitely ignore it, there are some creepy guys who may recognise you if you have face pics in your free or private gallery and get a kick out of telling you they've seen you out and about. Those types are weird to me and should be blocked instantly.

I remember a girl I followed on Twitter showed her face and she told me she was out shopping and another girl must've been another escort recognised her and walked past saying to her friend "that's so and so from AW", I agree with TrashAzn it's not just punters who are spending their time looking at girls profiles x

Have you ever walked down the street and recognised someone from Instagram? You probably have, does that mean your spending all your spare time stalking that persons Instagram? No you simply see something with your eyeballs and then recognise it later when you see them in the flesh. It doesn't mean you sit there like a weirdo stalking their profile whether it's a personal profile or an escort profile.

I've been working as an escort for 5 years in Glasgow so when I see the odd face out and about in town then it's not because I sit and study their profile like a stalker. It's a bit unfair to make that judgement and I don't think any of you are being truthful if you say that you've never looked at another escorts profile for whatever reason.

Can we get this back on topic please before anybody jumps off a roof, or anything?

The topic concerns being recognised by punters, and those who can't remember that need to stay off the thread and post elsewhere. If they find they can't, we'll see that they do.

Yip, still sticking to my original comment that I think it's a bit harsh to call a client a stalker for daring to recognise a girl in public after she shows her face online and then to want to make a booking with her.

He maybe didn't need to tell the OP that he seen her out and about, I can understand why that might put her off but a stalker? No, sorry!

I quite agree. He's a complete idiot for letting on, but I don't think it's stalkerish at all.

I get recognised now and again and I couldn't give a toss, but I wouldn't see somebody who said something like this before he'd even met me in person, because it tells me he has no idea of an appropriate way to behave and therefore I wouldn't want him in my flat.

Because where I live is small, I very occasionally get people who vaguely know me from previous jobs or as a friend of a friend texting me to tell me this and ask about a booking at the same time. As far as I'm concerned that's beyond bizarre, and I don't even answer them.

Lol I was at Heathrow over the weekend at a hotel and "spotted at least 4 Escorts from AW . And one I wasn't sure but would say 80 percent it was her
And if your at certain hotels in london. Like the one that's just been keycarded it's literally spot the hooker .

And nope I'm not stalking them it's just that I will look at aw when I'm touring to see who is in the same area as me out of interest ( nosiness) and a lot show there face so easily recognisable.
Like Amy I wouldn't see that guy because of the same reasons

Yes if anyone mentions it before we meet, I consider them a complete loose cannon.

Not too long ago someone contacted my via AW convinced I'd been to an interview at a particular organisation. What sort of person makes random contact like that? The sector he referred to is one in which I have been active, and I had thought aabout working for the place he mentioned (I'll be giving it a wide berth now),  so I don't know if it was an attempt to get me to out myself. All organisations I'm involved  with know about my sex work but only on a need to know basis, so whilst I have their support and can't be outed as such, it's still not something which is broadcasted.

I hate it when I get clients phone me up claiming to know me, I've been called all sorts of different names. My name is currently Courtney to a very persistent pain in the arse who thinks I work in River Island. Erm no, I work as a hooker named Kendra and my real name ain't Courtney. He even accused me of being a coke head cause he knows me that well apparently. I dared him to go up to his friend Courtney and ask her if she works as a hooker called Kendra to see what response he gets.

I always refuse and block to see anyone who thinks he knows me and I tell them it's crossing the line trying to book me when they think they know me. Even although they've all been wrong so far, I still wouldn't want to see them.

I don't know how people can recognise me if my daily makeup and clothes are different to my pictures on AW. My everyday style - Plain Jane. I'm not well know pornstar lol
I tried to blur my face on AW but misogynists and competitors complained to the site and my profile got deleted. It was a pain to get it back. So, I'm kind of forced to show my face. It's not a nice feeling.

Fortunately, I'm going to work in France and Italy this summer, I can have a few adverts with a blurred face, not only one like on f*** Adultwork.

I doubt it was because you didn't show your face as that's not against their t&c's and if it was 99% of us would have ad our ads removed.

I don't go stalking other girls profiles but I still would probably recognise one or two, and there's probably one or two I would recognise who don't show their face.

Although it would be more along the lines of 'that woman looks familiar, I'm sure I have seen her somewhere', then hours/days later going 'Omg that was what's her name'.

I agree with this. I only show parts of my face, enough for them to get a rough idea but nowhere near my whole face.

And I'm the same where I don't go stalking other ladies profiles as there's no reason for me to. I'm a local girl with set rates and services who happens to be very selective about who I meet with so only interested in who walks through my own door after they've got past my booking procedure. I couldn't give a shit what other escorts do but as explained in my earlier posts....there are all sorts of reasons why you might find yourself on other ladies profiles, the most common ones for me are contacting local girls to give them the heads up of a threatening dangerous client OR if a client contacts me through the site then I will check out who they've seen before as it gives me an idea of compatibility.

A couple of the girls I see around town regularly stick out like a sore thumb, not necessary for he right reasons. I won't say why as I don't like to be mean or judgemental and one of the girls I seen last week looked exactly like her pics whereas the other 2 had no makeup on what so ever so looked completely different from their pics but I still knew it was them.

Yes but do you have any actual proof this is the reason, the people who supposedly complained could have said anything.

As I said before not showing your face isn't against their rules so its obviously been something else.

I've been recognised and spoken to whilst out and about - I didn't like it.

Nobody has called and said they'd seen me at Tesco or wherever but I wouldn't like it. I suppose they would assume (like the two men who approached me in public) that if I show my face I'm completely open. To my way of thinking, they should respect our private lives entirely and not mention them.

I don't think it would bother me too much if someone saw me, recognised me, and booked me without telling me until the end of the booking. Actually, that has happened once. Not too terrible for me.

Oh, and I do look at other escort's profiles and websites. I'm nosy. So what?

I've had clients/potential clients message to say they saw me in Tesco, etc which does freak me out a little but the worst is I must have a doppelganger in the area because a few guys have said they saw me around in places I definitely wasn't that day - one guy said he saw me working in a shoe shop and was going to go up and say hi, well I don't have a civvy job and I told him just how inappropriate it would be to go up to a random woman and say you saw them on adultwork - shop workers get enough sexual harassment as it is without someone coming up and basically calling them a prostitute! Another guy saw "me" and described an outfit I was apparently wearing that I have never owned, and walking down a street that I wasn't anywhere near at the time. I've not seen my doppelganger around myself, but plenty of guys seem to have seen her, whoever she is!

I can recognize people off a facebook pic, don't forget if he found you attractive he will most likely reognise you, I wouldn't say stalker,he is just being honest
