but it's a hell of a lot of money if they all fall off, or go cockeyed or pull all your eyelashes out :o.

Just find out if they can guarentee a length of time for them to stay so you know you can get a refund or something if it goes wrong.  Dont worry if they all fall out, you can just use fake ones  ;)

This is where I envy you guys, having oriental features and crap make up skills, I have the typical hooded lid of my race and though my lashes are fairly long they are mosly hidden, also mascara smudges all over the place.

Falsies are a trauma to do myself, for one I need pull the eyelid from the corner and from the to to expose the lashline in the crease and as with mascara the glue can end up sticking the fold of my eyelid to the lashed making me look wierd and it can actually hurt.

Bugger.   :-\  ;)

I had Lash Perfect eyelash extensions put on last week, and so far they look fantastic. They're staying on really well, much better than individual lashes, which I could never manage to keep a full set of for more than 24 hours. They look really natural as well. When I had individauls, one of my less tactful friends announced that I look like Dame Edna. Definitely no risk of that this time.

The downside is that they cost an absolute bomb. It's ?120 per set and you need a new set about 4 times a year. Then you have to go back to the salon for a ?12.50 maintenance session every 2-3 weeks, so a bit of a hassle as well.

If they carry on looking this good, and don't go all scruffy on me over the next few weeks, I will be very tempted to stick with them forever, cost notwithstanding.

Hi Violette (and anyone else interested in eyelashes).

It's a definite thumbs up for lashperfect eyelash extentions. Hurrah!

They are gorgeous! I've never had so many compliments in all my life. I'm becoming disgracefully vain :-D

No problems with them falling out and suddenly leaving a ridiculous looking gap. They do start to fall out after a couple of weeks, of course, but because there are so many of them, you have to lose a fair old few before it's noticeable.

The downside is the cost. I find  I need to go to the beautician for a maintenance appointment every two weeks. I was hoping to stretch it to three weeks, but by the end of the third week I felt that if one more lash fell out it was going to start noticing. Fortunately I never quite got to the noticeable stage, but it would have been rather embarrassing if I'd had to open the door to a client sporting a pair of scarecrow eyelashes. Also, although they charge by the 1/4 hour for maintenance, it's not yet taken less than 30mins to tidy them up, so ?25 each time.

Bugger the cost, though. They look fab!  :D

God I am DYING to get some of these now!

My salon does some which apparently last for 5 days - they are cheaper and could be handy for photos or special occasions but these sound like the way forward for me. I think I can stand being high maintenance for a while ;D
