His response was pretty much along the lines of...
"so drinks are on you then?"
And I had been agonising about it for a couple of weeks! With hindsight of course I should have known he would be like this. He is one of the brightest and forward thinking people I know. So tonight, I am a happy boy.

well atleast you got it off your chest. I told one of my friends awhile back, and the usually response is, "I already knew, I was just waiting for you to tell me". Guess you can only get by for so long telling people about all of the posh places you've been to recently and spending cash money at the nightclub everytime ;)

i think the general response in non hetero circles is in general more positive than in hetero cycles; i think that has to do with a greater openness towards sexuality in general,

In a way, but then again I live in bible-belt country so its not as accepted as it would be in London I can imagine. At this point, I just stopped telling people in general. When I first started I was really open about it and told nearly everyone I met. Then I moved away. Not that I felt so bad for telling people, but just that I feel some just dont need to know.
Unless it affects them directly, or they want to actually be one themselves, its none of their business to me. Besides you just never know how people will be able to use certain things against you due to jealousy or whatever. Some people are crazy, venegful. Cant trust them with certain things, so its best to keep quiet about it. Then again, if they find out who gives a shit. Yes I do, whatcha gonna do? :D
