Showers and washing hair between clients.
« on: 11 April 2016, 12:23:53 am »
A trick I've found with the showering in between clients. Let hair get wet but just use conditioner and no shampoo. Then quick dry and straight. Works a treat and it's fast x
I'm glad I got all the Cynthia Payne books before the prices rocked to sky high.

I really would never wash my hair in between a booking.  Surely there is absolutely no need?

A shower I can understand.  I always freshen up.  But a hair wash is over the top in my view ....

Wash my hair in the morning, and use dry shampoo if i need too for the rest of the day.  Always use a shower cap when showering between clients.

It takes me several hours to dry my hair so I can wash it only every 2, 3 days: there are always nice smelling products I can apply for the scalp on a daily basis (also helping with hair resistance) or other stuff.  Never applied dry shampoo either and could never wash my hair every several hours!!!

I wash my hair in the morning before I start work but in between clients I just put it in a bun while I shower so it doesn't get wet

Ok I guess for very short hair but not if you have long thick hair.

My hair gets quite messy during services and for me the only way is to wet it and start from scratch but found not using shampoo and just conditioner does the trick.

I have no need to wash my hair after sex. I don't use heated appliances, don't use loads of products, at the moment my scalp doesn't get oily (I have a very clean diet), and only needs washing a couple of times per week.

Most cosmetic products are & it's highly flammable too. A hairdresser told me to use talcum powder instead.

I don't generally need to wash my hair after a booking either, but mine is long and thick and on a hot day I wish I could it gets claggy and horrible fast, especially when punters keep touching it. Dry shampoo doesn't work because brushing makes it frizz, and it's too dark to use talc without looking like I have a badger stripe.

I've learnt to wash odd bits of it under the tap if it's got something in it :-X but I mostly wind up just having to tie it out of the way, although I did try Febrezing it last week after it got smelling of some rank aftershave just to stop the smell wafting in my face on the way round Tesco :).

I have to wash mine every morning as it gets greasy so I have to use dry shampoo in between jobs, I fucking hate it when they touch my hair! I feel like punching anyone that does so, you can get a dark coloured dry shampoo if you are a brunette. Febreze! Interesting x
