philips lumea works wonders if you can't afford salon IPL. I just feel so uncomfortable and unattractive with grow back so I'm forever removing hair in all kinds of ways.

Ieaio, how long have you been using it for, where do you use it, and what type of hair/skin do you have? I'm considering the option, but want to know it would work on me before spending that kind of cash.

My problem is the hairs in the hard-to-reach places. Mine go just inside the labia majora and getting into all the crevices is hard.

@TigerLily
I have been using the Philips Lumea for 1 year now, I am olive skinned with thick coarse hair, Used it on my underarms, legs bikini and moustache! My hair is nearly gone, just a few fine hairs that come back which I zap again.
The best investment I ever made.

Sorry if this has been posted elsewhere, but I was wondering if you ladies shaved or waxed? I usually need to wait four weeks to wax everywhere, and stubble rash is my nemesis.

I am waxing every 5 weeks for the last 7 years and the hair is almost gone , here and there you see one hair growing . My opinion is better wax than shave

I have a full time day job so any money I earn from seeing clients is a bonus. I just want to be fuzz free all year round instead of turning down work because I'm waiting to get waxed

Having just read this entire thread, I do wonder whether there is a correlation between age and those who are Sod it I stay natural and OMG I Have to be smooth camps?

When I was young noone really bothered with pubic hair removal and it was considered something only women in porn mags did. My sexual experiences in my 20's were all with a full bush and noone cared a jot. I expect those over 40 would say the same.  There seems to be far more pressure on women to be smooth these days. I also find only young men ever actually ask if I'm shaved or not.

Personally I shave, I'm probably lucky (touch wood) because I don't get rashes or ingrowing hair and my stubble feels pretty soft and not spiky so I'm not religious about keeping it smooth all the time.  I use mens razors and male (scent free) shaving gel- mainly because I refuse to pay more for the female versions just because they are pink and pretty!

If I wasn't so vain about the fact my pubes are going grey (You wait for that day- it's horrible!) I wouldn't bother. I don't think most men care really as long as you're giving a good service and are sweet smelling! And as documented here there are blokes out there who love the natural look.

Though saying say that's only my experience with my clients.

I think you're right Lydia, and it also goes with men too, i.e. under 35s expect women to be completely/almost bald. I think I shaved my pubes off once or twice as a teen, but never since. Mine is fairly light/sparse though. I'll be 48 in 14 hours' time.

I remember we just had to shave up to the "bikini line" - that is, anything not covered by our swimsuits.
