I know some people might disagree and think they glamorise prostitution but i think they are really witty and well written (if offering a slightly glossed over version of life as a working girl)

Yep i know what you mean Alex about it sometimes being the best job in the world,when I'm having a good week and earning more in seven days than i did in a month at my previous civvy job i cant help think Ive made a brilliant life choice despite what the judgemental populace might think.

I hadn't ever seen it untill a few days ago, i dont have a proper tv so i watched it on catch up too.  I can see how women would wnat to start escorting thinking its all glam and prada handbags (actually, i do want a designer handbag so i wont knock that side of it!!!). 

What time does it go out on Telly though because i was suprised at the episode with the new and naive girl bambi.  i thought she was going to get beaten up or something much worse than what we actually saw and wondered if its because it goes out kind of early.  then i remembered it must go out after 9pm or they wouldnt have had an old granny saying "we've all had our share of cock dear"!!!

I will be watching it every week now.  how did i miss the first series? i had a tv then??

Yes, apparently Secret Diary was actually written by a male journalist. Although he must've got help or done research somewhere, as it seems to have quite a few things that escorts can relate to.
I'm afraid I'm one of those escorts that have neither read the books or seen the shows. I reckon I live it enough, why would I want to sit and watch/read it. 'Though I did like the documentary that followed. I recognised a couple of ladies and I thought we were well represented.

Belle's fetish clients seem a bit too textbook for my tastes, and believe me, I have a lot of books listing the profiles for various tastes!  Maybe I just attract very unusual ones!  She is pretty rude to her clients, and very unprofessional with her agent; the series presents he walking out on a client for no good reason, which will and dare I say should, get you fired from any agency worth its salts.  The blog refers to clients leaving her bruised, much to her masochistic satisfaction.  Even a professional submissive would not allow this, if for no other reason than it would put off future clients.  Also, the blog is completely humourless, and I find my experiences with clients often leave me laughing!

Well, I have only watched the first 15 minutes for the new episode and it did make me chuckle - I just found it funny to see references to gfe on a tv (fictional?) programme.

I have yet to see more to see what I really think but I think I will view it more from a light hearted view as opposed to seeing how accurate it really is, but like I said I have yet to watch more.

In any case, I did find it amusing and intend to watch the rest, on catchup!
