Sailing off into the sunset

Ladies, it's been a ride!

Now, it's time for me to retire and sail off into the sunset.
Thank you for reading my posts, replying and straightening my head when things were confusing. There were times when I was so completely alone that just keeping a tab with Saafe open in a browser was a lifeline - knowing that someone was always there. People who understand this life.
Thank you for sharing your stories and for so many useful tips. Thank you for posting warnings. And for the banter!

I've been a sex worker for around 6 years.
Well, it wasn't a financial success.  ;D  But thanks to sex work I was able to make a living, find a good therapist (after having seen many useless ones) and finally understand how abuse, manipulation and brainwashing works and how it's influencing choices and decisions.
I don't think that if my upbringing wasn't abusive, I would have chosen to be a sex worker, personally.
But considering everything, it was the best choice for me at that time and I'm very happy that I could work where it's legal and safe.
And with a fantastic little network and support system.

While I don't think I'll particularly cherish memories of the clients, I definitely will miss you here and fellow workers.  :-* :-*

The whole experience was sometimes colourful and absurd, sometimes pleasant, often mundane and empty.
I'm glad it's over.

xx
