Nope, never felt like that.

I've never been anything but independent.  Wouldn't dream of being any other way.  I work when I want, IF I want, see who I wish to see and when I wish to see them and most of all kept all the money to myself.

Working for an agency or a brothel would be my worst nightmare.  I like and need to talk to clients before I agree to see them.  Like most indi workers I don't see everyone who wants a booking.  I only ever saw guys I felt were suitable. The telephone connection is my main vetting and if I pick up on ANYTHING I will not meet the guy. 

My safety and security is paramount to me and I'm not going to take someone/anyone else's word for that especially when all they are thinking about is the money that is going to be going into their purses/wallets.

Putting up with a few tossers in the day is a small price to pay.

I can honestly say that after being with agencies for over a year and finally daring to be indie and have been for a month now... I BLOODY LOVE IT!  Wish I'd have done it sooner. 
Unlike with agencies I can sign off early if I feel like or if i'm tired and had a fair few clients, there's nothing fake about my profile and no airbrushed images unlike with agencies that brush them to hell and make you feel like you have to live upto something you're not.  Funnily enough too I barely got regulars when with agencies and I put it down to them cause I've only been indie a month and already have about 5 regulars. I can't tell you how much freedom I feel I have now since quitting crap agencies who don't give a crap about you and only think about the money.

Do you mean that you've only been advertising on AW for a day? Then that's why. You'll get all the chancers and boundary pushers and newbie hunters etc etc etc because they think you're new, green, naive. After the initial "newbie" period, things settle down and you'll see how indies cope.

no I've been on aw for about a year. I meant all the crazies sending these type of messages after appearing normal and making a booking, of course I don't end up seeing them, it's just they seem normal and genuine then all that starts
I do like keeping the money to myself, but I work when I want to and from home via agency, I guess it's just deciding whether paying 30% out is worth not having to deal with all that

I find it tiresome dealing with retards and timewasters I use the block  app continuously and get such dumb remarks and comments I just switch phone off whislt they are talking , I don't bother taking the conversation further...

Absolutely, thank god for the block button. Just so rude some of them.
Also I don't understand how soooo many spend days figuring out when you're both free to meet, then cancel last min or don't hear from them at all. I took 8 bookings other day, 2 showed up! Complete waste of my time
