Its 5th broken bed in 2 years :FF :FF :FF
Can you recommend me any proper strong beds please
-
divan bed is the best bet x

Simple wrought iron usually very strong.

Yep, I'd recommend a divan, or a bed that has iron slats (or metal webbing, though that can sag), but I'm not so sure the latter are easy to find. Also perhaps some sort of custom-made block bed. But definitely nothing with wooden slats!
I had a moderately priced John Lewis drawer divan with a normal mattress, and it lasted 8–9 years no problem (and I'm heavy). I replaced it a few years ago with a Warren Evans divan, which is also good, but I think they've since gone out of business.

my divan and matress has lasted 5 years from these guys and dirt cheap too!!

I have divan, it's probably the best by far out of all types of bed. One issue that I've found is they warp though and also make a noise after a while of usage (I would highly recommend attaching headboard to wall rather than the bed). I'm now looking into getting something stronger (highly recommended if have bigger clientèle) so I'm thinking reinforced divan. I don't like the orthopedic foam mattresses so get springed mattress but then that also makes noise and springs popping etc so looking at getting reinforced mattress aswell. I've priced it up at £500. Yes that's about £250 more than the average divan but you pay for what you get. The cheaper the bed the more likely you are to have to replace it sooner

I would just say buy a divan, unless you can find one of those old-fashioned cast iron frames, where the slats are also iron and/or a metal mesh.
-
I got one from ebay 99p, had to collect though often beds on Freecycle if you're not worried about 2nd hand. The bedframe I got was originally from Dreams, anyway it is wooden and I used an electric drill to screw everything really tight. Has slats. No noise even if I jump on it and I'm heavy. I would buy a wooden bed next time too. Good luck.

100% get a divan! No chance of slats etc breaking. X

I was actually going to just say anything but a divan! Absolute nightmare to clean and I've had the frame breaking on them. My most trusty was a nice wooden bed, didn't squeak or break.

I did outcall to hotel last year and when I go in room the guy had put the mattress on the floor.
Say that way no noise so people not know what he is up to in room.
Never done anything like it before but It was a laugh..
Some clients tell me it's quite common to go incall and mattress on the floor. Suppose it for same reason to keep noise down.

I ahve always wanted one of those ultra low Japanese style beds, slept on one once and not a squeak was heard

I can recommend a wooden bed. I got one which had no footboard, which is better. It creaked a bit when I first got it, so I took the slats out and coated them with vaseline where they fit against other parts. I also replaced the middle support with a stronger one, and now it's perfect. I used to have a floor mattress, which is good but limits positions.

I haven't used a bed for years, it's layers of light, roll-up futon style coverings, soft yet firm and comfortable enough for escort and massage. Bit of a harem interior that you can make as plain or glam as you like with lush cushions and throws. I remove them just before the action. I don't have much furniture in the room so the low stage setting doesn't look out of place.

I had an enormous client once, that damaged my divan bed base and it was never the same. Finally got around to replacing it with another divan last week and would you bloody believe it, had another enormous client that broke the new one the moment he sat down on it.
We both heard it snap. I didn’t know where to look.
Poor bloke though, the panic on his face was obvious and I felt so sorry for him I just spared him the embarrassment really. The new bed was a cheap gumtree jobby. I realise now that I’m probably gonna have to spend a bit.
Can anyone recommend something that will last and won’t make noise? Are divans (but a better quality one) the way to go or should I get something else? Help! That bed is knackered.
Thanks!

What terrible luck! I don't have any suggestions but am interested if anyone else does as I am about to buy a new bed!
-
Merged, since it's come up before :)
I would go divan every time although I've never known one snap - was it one with drawers underneath? I have a solid divan at mine and had no problems, but at my old work flat I had an IKEA Brimnes bed with the storage headboard and that was great until the corners started working loose and making it rattle :D
When I first started doing incalls I bought a cheapo wooden bed with slats online and I think it lasted three weeks before it snapped mid-booking and I had to stack books underneath it. I'd advise going to a proper bed shop and telling them you have a partner who weighs 20 stone or something so they show you the good stuff.

Brilliant idea! It’s a divan without drawers. Thought that’d make it more durable. I’m going to invest a bit! Cheers guys

My experience is the opposite many years ago a large man threw himself on the driven which allowed a horrid creak, he leapt up claiming it wasn't broken. Over subsequent months it became apparent something wasn't right, there was an odd creak and the mattress didn't lie quite flat.
Next two beds in furnished properties were slatted and absolutely fine, then when it became my choice I bought a very sturdy slatted bed with integral head board ie head board is part of the frame. This bed has proven excellent for the and tease, and then as I progressed BDSM style restraint. It wasn't cheap and a pain to acquire (I was messed about by the well known store I bought from, they had to provide a bed in the many months interim(which was actually a divan), but very happy with the bed and it's performance. In have much of my BDSM kit stored in boxes underneath plus many shoes, boots other bits and pieces.i can twice lights around the headboard something I started doing when camming as I noticed other performers like to add a bit of sparkle to their environment.

Divan, I can store essentail in the draws under it and it height is nore comfortable for some positions.

After going through 3 divan beds in less than 12 months (I'm plus size and very enthusiastic lol) I invested in a sturdy solid oak bed. It develops a squeak every so often but tightening up all the fittings and using little metal braces between the headboard and the wall soon sorts that out. I believe a new mattress is in order as it's coming up on 5 years of hard use and starting to go a bit lumpy but I can't complain at all. It wasn't a cheap bit of kit but it was definitely a worthwhile investment, especially as it's the bed I sleep in too xx

Wayfair do some pretty cheap black steel bed bases, and some of them have very high weight limits. They have lots of slats and extra legs in the middle. Not that pretty, but look like a decent possible option if combined with a good mattress for comfort.

A solidly built bedframe (Like Oak but that will cost a pretty penny) or a solid divan with no drawers underneath - regarding the mattress, I would still with a high pocket sprung mattress (1500 pocket springs plus) without a topper stitched in or built into the mattress - You can flip the mattress so not all one side is taking so much of a direct hit!
Decent, long lasting beds are not cheap!
