In total honesty i hate the word pussy, really makes me cringe x

I don't mind the word on it's own especially, but I hate the term 'eating pussy' - if you're biting, chewing and swallowing, you're doing it wrong and you shouldn't be 'eating' anything. I don't like any Americanisms at all - non-American people saying 'ass' instead of 'arse' drives me nuts and 'DATY' has to be the most revolting acronym in history although I don't think I've ever heard anybody say it out loud.

If punters email and mention 'ass', I politely tell them that I haven't got an ass but I do have some goldfish :).

Makes me cringe when my male clients refer to their asshole as 'my pussy'.. IMO If the two seem at all similar to them, they shouldn't be allowed near either

That is fucked up ;D.

Shit I refer to people as hun or hunni an awful lot, not meaning to annoy anyone but recently I've heard a few people say they HATE that word yet I am stuck with it through habit. Is it just a word that annoys you or do you mind it offensive? I defo don't wanna be offending anyone by saying that x

Well PP, you should know in Scotland being called "hun" is very derogatory.  I am a hun but I hate the expression.  I know its being used as a short form of honey but I don't even like names being shortened.  My four children have names that could be shortened, would anyone dare when I'm about ............ damn right they wouldn't or they would be getting their heads in their hands.
Beauty is nothing to do with having a pretty face.
It is about having a pretty mind, a pretty heart,
And most importantly a beautiful soul.

I'm in the South and I don't think the term 'hun'  has any derogatory meaning here, it's just when men in general use it makes me cringe. It doesn't seem so bad when a woman uses it, somehow seems more affectionate and caring  then.

Just when I guy uses it I just feel hes patronising me in some way or being over familiar, even though he probably doesn't mean to be. I get called it more from non-clients, usually from the wasted guy who tries to chat you up in the bar!

I think it's the Germaine Greer in me coming out!  :)

I am Scottish lol and I am a born and bread Glasgow girl so I know what "hun" means when using that as a derogatory term to someone who is a "hun" but I've never called anyone a "hun" in my life despite the fact I come from a long line of "tims" lol.

Obviously I say hun shortened for hunni and I do know it annoys some people (understandably, everyone has they're wee things they don't like) but I do struggle to understand how it could ever be taken as an insult?

I don't like being referred to as "awright doll" that gets on my nerves, don't know why, it just does so I guess the whole hun thing is the same.

xx

I'm pretty sure most people who've ever been north of the border will understand the difference between 'h*n' and a hun and I think it's equally clear what PP meant :).

As everybody can see above, that's the one that I detest so much I can't bring myself to type it - if people are going to use a word, they could at least spell it properly - I don't mind 'honey' anywhere near as much and the former just reads like text speak to me.

To be fair (since I'm not helping) the thread's getting a bit off track - the OP was talking about words to do with sex and we've already got about a dozen threads where everybody can say how much they hate being called 'babe' and so on. And for the above poster (I'm on my phone and can't remember who asked) DATY stands for 'Dining At The Y' which is a stupid American term for reverse oral (and I've not heard it used much there, either) :).

I like a Scottish accent dirty talk, as long as they steer well clear of word pussy....in fact everyone should.
I can't bear any kind of American accent, even tv shows sometimes it gets too screechy and I have to put something else on

I think most people use the word pussy when talking dirty but they may not actually like the word. And I hate the C word too, its rank and offensive lol. I love how the C word seems to get such a reaction though if you actually call someone a C, hehe!! The F word doesn't offend anymore.

Other words they use up here in Glasgow for Pussy is Fanny (hate it) Minge (hate it) Flange (hate it) C**t :o

Cant think of any others just now......xXx
