It really gets me so cross when they think we don't have a brain & can't think for ourselves. Don't these people realise we choose to become sex workers 'cos we want to. We don't have drug habits to support or pimps behind us making us do this. We haven't all had a bad childhood or been abused. Our children don't suffer, if anything, they get more than if we were struggling to make ends meet in a low paid job. We want to do it 'cos we enjoy it!!!! FFS!!!

For some very strange reason, there are always people, be it men or women trying to tell us-women what we can't and can do with our bodies. If it isn't abortion, it is prostitution. I think society as a whole needs to come to realization that a woman is more than capable of making her own informed decisions, and get over this patronizing 19th c. habit of treating women like children or brood mares; with out any room for the complex individuals that we are.

I hate to break it to them, it doesn't matter what they do, they won't stamp out prostitution. Drive it further underground, yes, but eradicate it, no.

I mean aren't there some more important issues to be dealing with, than whether a man pays for his sex?
