Amount of parlours left.
« on: 04 April 2016, 07:51:06 am »
Going back 8 to 15 years ago I have memories of parlours(brothels), they were a good laugh even if half your money was going to the owner.

I wonder what ratio is left now compared to back in the day. Or do most ladies go indi now?

I had such a laugh back in the day. Not all good with robberies. But nice having a maid to make you coffees and no phone or adverts to do while you waited on doorbell to ring at random times.

I have great memories of Charliez Angels Chiswick, the one in New Malden above kebab shop, the dump in Boston Road Hanwell, Charlton, to name but a few.

I'm glad I got all the Cynthia Payne books before the prices rocked to sky high.

All the places i used to work at are still open now lol i had my set day but some times i'd go an do a day at a 'here today gone tomorrow flat' i call them that cause thats litrally how they were lol

I enjoyed my parlour days they were a learning curve. My fave was like you said having a cuppa made for you some one else taking your bookings we'd order in bulk from the cafe and the lady would bring hot sarnies round  ;D.

I found the 2 i worked in in Birmingham the most enjoyable and laid back still intouch with a couple girls from there we're all indi now, the major one i worked at in manchester was bitchy and stressful. The money was excellent there and really nice places inside (2 branches they have)

So theres a few parlours still around not sure how busy the birmingham ones are any more some of my old regs have found me as an indi and don't punt in parlours any more they use AW.
