I'm a beautician too & that is what I say. Altho some of my clients just take their knickers off which is fine I really am not bothered, but usually just pull yr knicker legs to the side a bit & there ya go.  I really would like the laser hair removal.

I've had 3 bikini waxes and each time asked for it all off but been left with patches of hair, not the smooth hair-free zone I was expecting..  ???

My don't you guys just laser it off? It takes 3 sessions and the hair is gone. forever. I had mine lasered out so I didn't have to deal with the bikini wax torture.

I'm pale skinned/brunette and therefore theoretically an ideal candidate for laser, however, I had 12 sessions of laser (not IPL) on my bikini line and there's still plenty of hair left.  :( I'm slowly having the remainder removed by electrolysis.  I'm convinced it'll be worth it in the end though!

It works best on light skin, with dark hair.

No it's not like waxing, usually salons ask you to shave a few days before. But you definitely don't need to let it grow out. When you are between treatments though you are not allowed to wax or tweeze, but you can still shave :)
