I have someone who I hold on discount because he's seen me through thick and thin, who asks me each time to name a present. The rough value of which I the difference in the rate, I ask for specifics and it keeps me in something specific to do with beauty / skin / appearance..... I also make sure I wear something new or different for him which is what I do for all clients, but I really like surprising him.

It's not all sinister and scary and I've learned to appreciate it, I just wouldn't let boundaries be pushed on the back of any sense of guilt or owing.

Received from one of my favourite clients (don't see him that much as I tour and only see him on tour):

An expensive bottle of perfume.
An Osmo handheld recorder for my phone (complete with receipt in case I didn't like it and wanted to exchange it for something!)
He also gives me an amazing massage which I see as a present when he doesn't have to!

Also recently received two books from a client (one being the best book I've read recently). Rarely get gifts but I've had some of the loveliest clients recently.

Recently received a PVC catsuit bought from eBay which was too small and the zip instantly popped lol. I guess it was the thought that counts.

Ive received underwear, wine, chocolates, shoes, spa stuff, even flowers over the years.
Never criticize someone until you've walked a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, they won't be able to hear you from that far away. Plus, you'll have their shoes.

I've received all sorts of amazing gifts. From chocolates to designer handbags.
I appreciate the gesture and always cherish what people have bought me with their hard earned cash.

Always expect my fee though, always lol.

Hey everyone. Hope you're all having a good Sunday.

Have you/do you receive random gifts from time  to time?

I don't mean flowers or chocolates.

I have one client who has been pretty regular now for six months and he constantly brings me certain books. As much as I love to read, he brings me those corny romance books which you see in WH Smiths. Not really my sort of thing.
I keep a few to have on show for when he comes but the rest I give to charity shops.

I very recently had 1 bring me Girl Scout cookies 🍪, of all things😆. I♥️them so I was thrilled (Thin Mint! Nom!) & he was SO pleased I was happy.

Had 1 bring me an entire lunch from the deli he worked at; sandwich, chips, drink, cheesecake. Nom again!

1 guy brought me a necklace/earring set that was so clearly purchased at a gas station; I pitched it when he left. Silver toned with pearls, it was awful looking; I cooed appreciatively over it but my god it was tacky. Kudos for the thought tho👍🏻.

I don't drink bc it's a migraine trigger,  so there's a lot that bring sparkling apple 🍎/grape 🍇 cider bottles unasked, those are always really yummy.

1 brought chocolate 🍫covered espresso beans? It was only an hour visit, did he think I was going to fall asleep on him?😆

Never gotten anything huge, fancy or expensive, but I absolutely never expect anything anyway. Hell, I jumped up & down about the G/S🍪😆.

Client just walked on the door and got out a big box of Lindt! Then tells me he’s started on them already and they’re NOT a gift. Hahaha xx

My client today brought me fruit he grew in his garden; that was a really lovely gesture. I prefer things that are useful to me, which saves me buying them :-P

In the last two weeks I have had expensive olives (which I love), expensive chocolate (which I love), Yankee Candle car air freshener (which I love lots because I always forget to buy a new one), new bondage ropes, a reed diffuser from White Company (which has been taken straight home and opened), an expensive candle from my Amazon wishlist and some Amazon vouchers, which I intend on using to buy a new electric toothbrush and maybe some other fancy stuff I grudge paying for myself.

One of my regulars brought me a gift voucher for Allbirds for £95 a few weeks ago - I had no idea what it was but it turned out to be a trainer company that make trainers from trees and recycled plastic bottles. THE MOST COMFORTABLE SHOE IN THE WORLD. I barely take them off :) I was so very grateful to him for that.

To be honest, these are all things I wouldn't buy for myself. I don't really buy myself anything expensive or luxurious so it's always a nice treat when clients get me these little luxury gifts that I will 100% appreciate, as opposed to an expensive bag or jewellery which will likely sit in my wardrobe and not get used very often. I would still be very appreciative and grateful if I was gifted a bag, but it just wouldn't get used quite as often.

I often get chocolate and wines as gifts, but my current favourite is a man who brings me KFC when he sees me ha!

The most extravagant gifts I’ve received are a boob job and a car.

My most favourite gift was a complete crockery set (he works for one of the best crockery companies and I would never have justified paying those prices!), which he regularly adds to when he sees me.

My most hated gift is tacky underwear that doesn’t flatter me. I’ll wear it that day and then never again!
