My Husband,  my best friend (also a SW) and my nail technician (who I've known for 10 years)......oh and a group of cocky lads on a flight the other day who really thought they were gods gifts, they were full of if and thought they were funny chatting up 2 middle aged ladies going on their holidays, they were trying to guess our jobs and had me down as a geography teacher and my mate a maths teacher.......their jaws hit the floor and stopped them in their tracks when we whispered in their ears what we did for a living!......still laughing about their reaction.

Haha this is brilliant!!  ;D

I have told 2 people, both very close friends, and also told my GP.
I could never tell my family, they wouldn't understand.

That is fab! Can you imagine those guys going back home being asked about their hoilday/flight and any nice girlies they had met!
I tell no one as I have joined the secret squirrel club! My pet dog knows though!

Most people I know are aware what I do, when I first started I used to get a thrill telling people I am a prostitute.

My sister is the only one close to me who has an issue

Only my sister knows, I'd dread anyone else knowing at the moment.

My partner is the only person I've told, we were together when I started and he is super supportive. I'm trying to get him to do sex work too!

I haven't told anyone else but I'm fortunate enough to have built up a great group of SW friends and it keeps me sane being able to talk to them about the job.

My mum is the person in the world I'd least like to find out this.

No one that I know in my personal life. Don't want any complications.

My husband, several girlfriends, and a few thousand of my favorite sex partners, I mean clients, are the only ones who know what I really do.  I too enjoy surprising complete strangers by telling them my career, but I always say it in a way where they can't tell if I'm joking.  Got to keep them guessing, although I've met a few cute future clients this way on trains, in bars, etc.  I'm always careful to ensure they initiate further contact for legal, safety, and sanity reasons.
