I am coomplying a playlist of my fav tunes that will also work at work. My top two are cee Lo green - I want you anf temper trap - sweet disposition. Whats you're favs?
-
If you do a search for stuff like 'music playlist' there's quite a few ideas, although it's probably a few months since we last had this one :).
I have a three hour playlist with slightly different types of music predominating for each hour and then pick where to start it according to my mood (or just how sick I am of hearing the other segments). I don't put my very favourite songs on it though, because I don't want to wind up associating them with work.
If Straight Outta Compton comes on, then I know we've definitely gone well over :D.
-
Thank you Amy, as ever. Have read some of thread. Fab idea to use a playlist as a timer. I bloody love that idea!

Well I can't take the credit for the idea when lots of people in lots of jobs do it (including my yoga class and every massage or spa treatment I've ever had) but it does negate the need to have a massive, obvious clock anywhere and means you can bring bookings to a natural end without forever finding yourself practically shoving punters out of the door or keeping the next ones waiting because you've lost track and wound up running late.
Plus my eyesight is so atrocious once I've taken my glasses off I could hang a clock the size of a dustbin lid on the wall and I still wouldn't have a clue what it said from more than a foot away :D.
-
My London Grammer c.d seems to go down quite well in bookings.
-
I tend to just stick a digital radio station on and always wear my watch so that I can subtly keep track of the time. I used to have playlists for work but I find myself getting suck if what was once my favourite songs when I hear them too many times, I love music so much that I don't want to get sick of my personal favourites or start to associate them with work.
-
Is it wise to use these in a hotel room? That's the only place I ever offer incalls, though walls are thick right? I also feel it's a bit moot as most clients ask you to switch it off, surely?

to switch off the music...why?

They might say it's offputting/annoying/they don't like it etc. I imagine most of mine would anyway.
-
Have clients ever commented?
Do have a silent room?
Just curious...we all have different styles that work for us.
-
I'm not critiquing your style, I simply had a question. I'd like to use playlists too, I'm just worried about annoying clients as lately everything seems to be annoying them from my youth to my glasses. ::)
-
I'm not saying that.
I was curious.
We are all so different...and learning from each other.
-
Idk, I assume the default is silent so it would be strange for them to ask "why isn't there music playing?". ;D I think I *might* give it a go next week at my incalls, reckon I'll go for London Grammar too as it's good sex music, but I might sneakily slip in some of my babies aka Sigur Ros though some high-pitched bloke singing in Icelandic might be a bit far. :D
-
Hey...I wear glasses too! WTF?
Once or twice I've had grumpy elder guys ask for silence.
But they already entered being negative, 'dry and moody'.
Not my typical market and I'd never want a return visit.
So for my 'normal' 20yrs+ clients we just roll to house music...Hed Kandy mostly.
Maybe a bit up tempo but don't want anything that
slows them down or sends them to sleep.
-
I play some random playlists from spotify, I don't want to play my music, cos it'll remind me of bookings later, especially of not the fun ones.
-

to switch off the music...why?
Exactly - my work flat is nice and peaceful anyway, but surely nobody wants to sit in stony silence while they listen to the traffic outside, or the people next door having an argument or the vacuums out in the corridor ???
I have been asked for no music once in eight years of doing incalls, although when I'm in hotels I'm stuck with the radio if there's nowhere to plug my crappy work ipod in (in which case Radio 3 is nice and gentle without much inane chatter). Most people like music, the rest aren't generally thinking about it anyway because they're coming for a shag and worrying about whether total strangers might or might not be 'annoyed' by something (and being whiny and defensive will annoy them a lot more) is utterly futile. If they want it off they can say so.
As I posted above, I don't put my favourite songs on work playlists for the same reason, but I do choose albums I like and put on the songs which aren't quite favourites. If I rejig them, I find the best way to do it is leave the 'marker' songs where they are and then change the rest :).
Oh, and I wear huge glasses but take them off for bookings so they don't get knocked and I know exactly where they are at all times so I can find them again afterwards. Problem solved.
-
Rose, I asked the questions because I wondered if you did
a lot of quite talking with clients...and music got in the way.
I get it now.
I agree Amy, I don't play my besty fave tracks
as I'd 'wear out' my special songs and they'd just be
associated with cocks. Handsome cocks must be said...
but I want my own non-cock musical memories.
-
Hmmm Usually Paloma Faith, Ellie Goulding, Mumford and Sons, Ed Sheeran that kinda thing.
-
I use an ibiza chill out playlist, seems to just blend in as background noise and bland enough to suit most x
-
Does anyone find their head starts bobbing up and down in time to the beat when playing music while giving blow jobs? Or shagging in time to the beat? I find I can't help myself, then I worry it's really obvious and off putting. It's the main reason I rarely play music, but would love to be told I'm just being neurotic again!
-
I sing a little...

I like to suck cock to David Bowie's The Man Who Sold The World.

Is that the stuff they play in chic bar lounges? That sort of smooth and easy sorta jazzy sorta soul stuff that sounds a bit latin and a bit generic? Whenever I'm in a swank restaurant or bar and hear that I think, "I need to find some of that shit to play in bookings."
I've been playing David Bowie's greatest hits a lot. Everybody likes David Bowie. And I can listen to it over and over - have done for months - without ever getting sick of it.
I tried an album of The Eagles greatest hits but that didn't work at all. Fucking to the Eagles is like running in sand.
I searched iTunes for something like "Romantic Classics" and got something called "50 Romantic Classics." Bunch of opera overtures and suchlike. That works pretty well for the sort of guys who think it makes sex fancy if there are violins playing.

Kind of, it reminds a bit of lift/spa music if that makes sense? It's not really my kinda music- so find it hard to descibe.. Basically it's kind of audio white noise? haha x
-
VictoryRose, I think sigur ros would go over well, slow dreamy. I've used a lot of indie music, Beach House, Air, anything with female vocals. House, post-rock, folk, disco, played metal for a guy who walked in with a Slayer shirt, classical, jazz, sometimes I have clients pick music, sometimes I play albums for them when I know what they like, think I'm gonna get an iPad so I can play music on outcalls too, because I'm always disappointed when I turn up to someone's home and there's no music!!!
Yeah, I've had clients ask me to turn it off before. Okay, fine.
Personally though, being able to listen to music while f*king is one of the perks of f*king. I had a bf years ago who used to sing lyrics to me instead of dirty talk. It was hot.
-
I've always got the radio on ,not too loud and not too quiet, but I couldn't stand a totally silent room..
I've never had anyone ask me turn it off, or down even, I don't think they even notice it's on.
I've made the mistake of singing along with a tune a few times while they were giving me RO lol, realised
just in time and turned into something resembling noises of passion ;D
-
I found some hotel lounge music on utube it goes on for ages I play that a lot at the moment or lana del ray dark paradise
-
On my OUTCALLS, it's a rare man that thinks to set an ambience. Mostly it's stark daylight and silence. I'm used to it now.
The worst are the ones that play romantic or classical stuff - because it makes me feel really sad. Not in general, just on a booking ( one for the psychologists there ) :-\
My favourite chap would have afternoon quiz shows running. On more than one occasion I had to stop from blurting out "..The Sistene Chapel!" When I was supposed to be in the throngs of passion ;D
-
Recently on tour, in a hotel with thin walls and hovering housekeeping, I had to put the telly on during bookings - very apologetically and the clients seemed to understand.
I found that Homes Under the Hammer worked very well. It has a variety of people's voices, male and female, and some of them being non-professional presenter voices. But quiz shows were a disaster! Almost impossible to not shout out the answers!
-
Homes Under the Hammer
Ooh yes, that show really gets me going. ;D
I had my first booking with a playlist, it was quite fun actually - client himself was awful but my music wasn't. I have a whole two hour playlist with various markers so I know where I am, most are quite floaty songs but I have Strategically Placed others around where I expect them to orgasm, which seemed to work really well. Today I have a whole day of incalls so further test results will follow.
-
i used to play alot of fun lovin criminals lol
i put on chilled out house now or fleetwood mac
-
I have the app 8track (free!) which had ad free playlists created by other users. I love it and hook up my speakers to them, all works perfectly and a large range (currently listening to some sultry Spanish/Portugese music- think Nando's but sexier!) 8) Doesn't make me sick of my own music after work either.
-
I am a big fan of Salsa style music too love it
-
Any r and b from early 2000s or older (thats usually for the gfe)
Nicki Minaj: pp, pf
Drake- take care
some of Wale's older album/mixtapes

-

-
On Sky Arts tonight at 10 pm, there is a programme called "Songs to have sex to" .... Might be interesting .....
-
I normally put on something soft and relaxing, unless they want a full on pse type booking. Sometimes you can drop into casual conversation what type of music they like. When they gone, save their music preferences in their contact info, so when they come again, your playing their favourite music. You can just stream it off you tube. Makes them feel special next time that you remembered.
-
definitely spotify playlists or on youtube you 'majestic casual' playlists :D
-
What sort of CDs do you girls play?
I currently have a radio on quietly but walked in with a client the other day and madness was playing! He was not impressed! Lol
I'm thinking rock music might get their rytham going faster so they'll finish earlier, but slower music may get them all romantic and on a go slow. Haha
Curious as to what every else does x
-
I have playlists on my iPad and play different ones depending on the client, age etc
-
I have never played music or ever been asked for it... Now I'm wondering if I should be!
-
I always have something playing in the background. Favourites are Stevie Nicks, Bowie, Ryan Adams and Cinematic Orchestra. Bowie comes with the added risk of me belting out China Girl though...
-
Two I've recently added to my playlist:
Ciara - Paint it Black
The Weekend - Wicked Games
Both of them are really horny.
If I'm doing incalls I always have music playing, or the TV on. I tell clients "it's to cover the sound of me getting noisy". Sometimes that is the truth!
-
Best of Enya but if I play privately its Fleetwood Mac, sting/the police, Joe cocker or jazz
-
I'm absolutely loving this lately - Alan Walker Faded.
I've had plenty of "fun" to this song lately lol
Its my no.1 tune actually, when it comes up on my playlist I'm like.. super happy life is amazing ;D
-
I learnt the hard way not to listen to any of your favourite songs. I've ruined them forever! Relaxed and inoffensive is your best bet. I have different ones depending on their age group. A few well chosen hits from their youth seems to always go down well, and often prompts a story of recollection. I'm all for keeping them talking :)
-
What do you put on as background sound when you have clients. Do you have a playlist? If so what kind of music do you put on it xx

Nice choices. Covers a lot of tastes there x
-
I have a couple of them! Son of a Preacher Man is my half hour marker song ;D
-
Thats one of my fav songs. Do you start your music when you both go up to the bedroom thrn work out your half hour from that x
-
I've never used playlists as timers. When incall I played whatever I fancied, sometimes clients would make requests, or if I knew such and such liked a particular artist or style I'd put that on.
When outcall which is the majority of my current business, things are a little different. I do have a regular who likes me to bring music, so I've bought a little tin box speaker which I can attach my ipod to which fits easily into my bag. Most of my bookings don't have anything in the background, sometimes client's music or TV. Once I got used to it I've been fine with nothing in the background, in fact I quite like it.
-

Yep pretty much. If he wants a shower then I'll generally start it when he gets out. In appreciation for his hygiene!
-
If he wants a shower then I'll generally start it when he gets out. In appreciation for his hygiene!
I do that :). I start it just as I go to answer the door so there's something on when they come in, and I time my marker songs to start pretty much with the half hour, hour, 90 minutes etc. It means that by the time each comes to the end it's 3-5 minutes after and I know they should be about ready to go (or at least in the shower) by the time the next song starts; I think my 30 minute one ends 2 minutes over, the 1 hour one 4 minutes over and the 2 hour is 7 and a half minutes (because it's LA Woman by the Doors and goes on for ages ;D).
It does mean it's roughly 30 seconds to a minute in when they actually get in the room, but thats why I leave the wiggle room at the end. And it's really so that I'm aware of the time rather than a reason to be finishing dead on; I work mostly office hours and a lot of punters have somewhere they need to be so can't afford to lose track.
-
I only recently realised that I have access to free music with Amazon Prime, so I have bought a little blue tooth speaker and I have downloaded a few things to my phone. I still want to make a good play list, but I am currently using an album of new age spa music.
-

I choose not to play any music during bookings. It's a bit weird for me really. But I definitely have music that gets me going like midnight city M83 and the mother we share by churves. I also like a bit of ADCD what you do for money;)
-
Thank you Admi for adding to this thread. Must of missed it xxz
-
I love those sultry Lana del Rey unreleaseds, super sexy blues music
metric, the weeknd, coeur de pirate, portishead, massive attack all get me going lol
-

all of these!!
blues-y electronic like bonobo, sometimes jazz but I don't have any particular artist for jazz. I like bonobo's spotify too it has quite a few artists in it.
ABRA, reid, maxine ashley, theivery corporation, cinematic orchestra, blockhead, sometimes other genres if they have sexy themes, radiohead, depends on client but 99% say they don't care which genre of music. There's a pomo song called Vibrator lol
If it is a long appointment then I play a variety and if they say they like one then I'll switch to that genre.
I usually turn vocals down if possible, and go into more instrumental songs at the end of the playlist as by then it's just background music
-
At the moment I'm playing Caro Emerald, scenes from the cutting room floor at every incall. Unfortunately it's only about 45mins long, but I do love it, gives a great vibe.
What do you guys play? As I'd like more selection.
-
I've got two playlists I made in Spotify, one is 35 mins and the other is 65 mins. I just play 'lounge music' a mixture of gentle house and RnB. just nice for background noise.
-
My niece put the soundtrack to 28 days laters ( horror film ) on my bloody iPhone lol it's actually a great tune but I do wonder if client s think I'm going to rip their throat out or something
My finishing song is always end of the road by boys to men
I recently added a few new ones in honour of George Michale I'd forgotten what an amazing voice he had and how fantastic is song are
I added older , different corner, Jesus to a prayer and praying for time.
-
Spotify have a playlist titled SEX
It's great.
-
My playlist was a load of chill out music stuck together, no particular timing.
I've not used it for a long time, and prefer to just put on whatever album I fancy. Sometimes I get the music wrong for the mood, sometimes I get it right or change it. Choice of music can become a conversation point.
-
;D ;D
a strategy to slown down a punter! so have a more vanilla style of booking! at least works for me! i do not know how many of you that noticed that!
i like slow and sensual..many punters clients they like as well!
but sometimes i met a more hardcore style of punter...ahah first time just supported it and keep going..
second time meeting...put some music like jazz, mozart, bossanova...
they became so vanilla....
give a try! worked for me with many!
i will avoid Metallica...ahahah
music is just Magic!
what you think?
somebody else using this strategy?
just a light post today!
-
I just put on tv radio, which is either kisstory (my personal favourite) or Captial FM (if its someone a lot older I tend to put on smooth FM lol) but reading back about having a 'set time' playlist, so without clock watching, you know when there time is up! thats a great idea! its so simple but very helpful! ;D
-
My favourite one at the moment is the Suits playlist on Spotify. It?s pretty cool and for me personally, a bit sexy. Maybe because I?m imagining Harvey Spector while I?m at it ;D
-
Just got seals new CD it's quite laid back relaxing style ideal for a 30 min booking . :)
-

Thanks for this I am now enjoying lots of suits related music!
-
I have several timed playlists, ranging from 15 mins to 60 mins. If I get a 90 min booking then Id play a 60 min PL then a 30 min one (but I dont get many 90 min bookings hence the reason I do this). When Erykah Badu On and On starts playing then I know that theres 15 mins left. My last song is Justin Beiber ;D
Each playlist has a diff ambience, so if its a young guy then I will put on my upbeat PL (Drake, A$AP Rocky etc): if its an older guy then its my more slower sensual PL (Russ, Alina Baraz & Galmatias, Sia etc). I had no choice but to mix it up like this after a couple of my older clients complained about some of the words Drake mentioned in his songs :o but Im glad I did because playing the same songs over and over would do my head in!
Ive made the playlists from scratch and even though they are all different, every single one has the same 3 songs at the end so I know when theres 15 mins left
-
Thanks for this I am now enjoying lots of suits related music!
Ha! You?re welcome, it?s a fantastic playlist with some great gems in there too.
-
Today I had a weird experience. Normally I play pretty chill music, like the xx, london grammar etc but it makes me so depressed now. Today I felt so demotivated to work that I stuck some upbeat, happy music on and it completely changed the dynamics of the session and client pump rate. Seriously. They were much livelier all round!
What was I thinking?!
-
I always play club music (or anything with a fast beat) for this exact effect. Usually over quicker that way. But this can backfire. Bruised thighs are not always worth the time saved :-\
-
I am very very specific with my playlists and I pick tracks for effect.
The first 15 minutes are kind of laid back, chilled out tracks.
Then we get more upbeat. In a half hour booking, I should have his cock in my mouth or pussy by now.
Then it gets a bit more chilled.
Then after half hour we're back to upbeat.
-
I offer nuru massage so i always put this one on my playlist, its really relaxing and calming, 8/10 clients fall asleep like babies
[link removed - please.stick to titles and don't post these here]
-
I had found an old thread dated back some time ago and really wanted to ask what music you like to play when you have clients .
I started using background spa , chill out jazz
sounds which are so relaxing and it goes on for ages .
Do any of you use that too ?
-
I like to play deep sexy house;)
-
I now have a playlist for every length of booking I offer - 15 mins, 30 mins, 45 mins, 1hr, 90 mins, 2hrs.
I use tracks that I like because otherwise I'd be wanting to throw my laptop/phone out the window. Chill out stuff makes me want to puncture my own eardrums.
Apart from the 15 mins, my playlists all have the same "nearly end of booking" track which is the penultimate one. Then the final track is always Latin. Couple are Shakira, one J-Lo, one Mana. I aim for them to be getting showered or dressed during the last one whilst I'm wandering around getting my clothes back on and singing "No pido que todos las dias sean de sol"
-
I made a playlist for 30mins and 1hr just some of my fav tunes and songs. I hear no complaints
-
I've recently made a playlist on Spotify. It's mostly a mix of sexy rnb and rock songs. Then I've set a completely different genre of song to let me know the time is well and truly over. I know if I hear Cardi B singing ' Oh ma, oh ma, oh ma god, I don't do nothing for free you know I gotta chargeeee" the client should be gone! haha ;D ;D ;D
-
Any recommendations for a domination playlist?
-
Venus In Furs by the Velvet Underground is good one for domination, always makes me want to reach for a whip!
-
Ooh Venus in Furs is a good one.
Mercy Seat by Ultra Vivid Nation is going on there, along with BTSK by MSMR.
-
Venus In Furs by the Velvet Underground is good one for domination, always makes me want to reach for a whip!
As any of my regulars who are probably sick to death of hearing it will testify, ViF is the first song on my work playlist and I don't even do domination :D
-
Silly me didn't even think about music! :FF I have been going without music for the whole 6-7 months that I've worked and haven't had any requests to play any, other than 2 clients who were on coke (turned up without telling me they were on it) ::) asked for music to 'party' to.
I read the thread and I must say I found it so clever that some of you ladies put together playlists with a song to mark how far into the session you are. I have a big fat clock for that ;D
I am now gonna have a go at having music on however a cba with playlists so I already know the playlist on youtube that I'm gonna play. It's called 'chillmasters'. They have chilled out 'lounge type' music as well as a live radio that you can tune into on youtube. I'd recommend it if you want a chilled vibe, and the good thing about the live radio feature is that it's always different so you don't get bored.
I too, cannot play music that I actually like because it'll remind me of work too much and that kills it for me. When I'm off work I don't wanna be reminded of it. Plus my music taste is very out there so I thinkI'd lose clients if I played what I actually like ;D

@the moment lana del Ray paradise.
Or spa relaxing sound for longer booking hour.

Anything by the weeknd :)

just discovered a new one on apple music- Goldfrapp- worked really well xx
Goldfrapp is perfect. Use her all at the time.
-
I am a Goldfrapp freak and play all the sexy songs during bookings on my 'Sex' play list.
Hooverphonic also have some cracking slow tracks!
-

Ooh lala is one of my all time fave shagging tracks ;D... doesn't matter where I am, whenever I hear the opening bars my body just goes 'woo helloooo....'!! It's like pavlov's dogs :D
So yeah....I have Supernature & Black Cherry on the go when I'm working; also REM, LittleBoots, Bjork (debut), The Gossip (Standing in The Way of Control is a great for a bit of a strip show imnsho ;) - see also: INXS Need You Tonight & Led Zeppelin Black Dog=Soooo goooood!) I'm a big Prince fan as well; doesn't matter if I'm stripping, shagging or hoovering the living room ;) Though for work I always stick to his more popular albums & Greatest Hits as some of his later stuff is arguably quite self indulgent & weird lol
Ooh and also lots of Blondie - Ms Harry & Co *always* make me feel upbeat & sexy.... Their generic Greatest Hits seems to be popular with clients & actually now I think about it, more than a few regs call me 'blondie' anyway so playing their music has become a bit of a nod to my hair... ::) Ive got quite a distinctive cut & it's almost white given I've been bleaching the absolute crap out of it for years haha! ;D ;D ;D
Being a 90s teenager means I have a fair bit of Britpop on the go as well (Pulp, OCS, Oasis, Elastica Suede etc- what I refer to as "my" era lol) I have much older siblings so I grew up listening to- and still have an appreciation for- all manner of 70s & 80s stuff ( :) ...gotta love the 80s man!!) and from a young age my Dad had me listening to Bowie, Zeppelin, Free, Cream, Dire Straits etc... Oh and er... Seasick Steve... ::) Hehe ;D (love him tho... I do!!)- so it's probably fair to say I've got a wide ranging taste which is handy as always seem to have something to suit my male visitors ;)
I had one guy who insisted on spending over 20 mins of *his* 1hr booking ripping *my* entire CD collection to shreds before finally opting for ... Best of Enya (lol...I know man wtf!!! Acquired, incidentally for a film project I was involved with years ago that I forgot to return to the library...Ooops!)
Anyway, he blew his load unexpectedly during OWO so now whenever I hear that bloody Orinoco Flow it evokes that now indelible memory of spunk shooting ever so elegantly out of my nostrils....Wahahaha! Aye thanks for that mate....He must've had a thing for pan pipes or summit... ;D ;D ;D
The majority of my clients tend to be in their 40s/50s and I've found so far that Rock, Mod, Ska, Punk (Stiff Little Fingers, Dexys, The Specials, The Cure, The Jam, Squeeze, Clash, Undertones, Sham 69, Gen X etc) seem to be really popular & I hear a lot of "ooh this takes me back...." type of comments ...*ponders* I wonder if that has a positive effect on the booking as I've noticed quite a few guys remarking that they feel "younger" or "young again" after a good hard half hour/hour in the sack...?? ;D....possibly a bit like Heston Blumenthals 'multi sensory' approach to creating an 'experience' (lol don't mind me, I often muse about this kinda thing...then again I'm *probably* a bit odd :))
And yes I know I am old fashioned mostly because I just get hugely irritated by tech when it "goes wrong" (aka when I'm doing something wrong) :FF & I'd imagine the sight/sound of me chucking a hissy- fit is never gonna be the greatest for business... ;D :D ;D So being a bit of a luddite, I far prefer my old faithful, easy-peasy Sony 6-disc changer Stack :) - "inherited" when I moved into my flat yonks ago (Cheers Previous Tenant :-*)
Fookin' hell.... :D ::) Can anyone tell I'm procrastinating....???! lol I only intended to make a quick post ;D

I'm so glad this thread is up, I need a playlist for an hours booking for a very posh middle aged man. I'm thinking maybe jazz? Not sure I can keep a straight face hearing trumpet music though.

My poshest 'middle aged' regular likes Prince :).

Hello girls!! So I have been using radio 1 in bookings but found some times it's not great, especially when the news comes on and it may come up with something about sex trafficking or stis. Sometimes I just want to burst out laughing. Anyways I've come up with the solution (which I see many others have) abouts having a play list. So to the girls that have a booking playlist what do you have?
-
Merged :)

I can’t listen to pop or rock whilst I work, I’m seriously seriously easy distracted so I have a selection of chill out albums that I re-use a lot, I try not to go with ones that are too elevator music and are bit sexy. I just like to ‘fill the room’ with nice sounds. Nouvelle vague, thievery corporation, morcheeba (although some of their songs are too upbeat) portisheads first album that kind of thing. I did go through a billie holiday/jazz phase but love that in my real life so did not want to imprint it with too much whore memory ;D
-
Not a playlist per se, but I always, ALWAYS have Friends on in the background. It plays over here stateside on various channels & times & of course Netflix, so it's a rare time I can't find it; then there's always YouTube lol.
It's background noise, no one has yet to object to it, it's fairly innocuous & more importantly, I can still watch it IRL without thinking, "ick, I saw this with a client."
I know every episode so well, they're literally my timers😆. I've had to stifle many a laugh (still!) when I'm supposed to be entranced with some guy's cock, haha.
We were on a break!!
-
Friends?
Wow. I'd be running out the door if I was a client, honestly. But I see you're in the US so maybe it's not so cringey!
I'm trying to think what the UK equivalent would be. Probably "Only Fools and Horses" 🤢
-
Must admit I'd be pretty pissed off to have an appointment and the TV was on all the time.

I leave the tv on as background noise.
Only ever had one power trip client turn it over a dozen times and then turn it off in a huff. and it was instantly more of a creepy atmosphere. In silence. Ew.
But hah yay another thing I’m doing wrong. Ugh.
Need me a speaker ASAP. Xx
-
*shrug* I've had a very rare few complain about it & I point out, very reasonably, the thin walls of hotels etc. I'm not having silence seeing as how I'm the 1 staying there, you're not. If it's an outcall, then I could care less what your neighbors think.
If they WANT something else, i.e. music, of course I'll accommodate. It's not like I'm sitting at the edge of the bed saying, "No! It's Friends or nothing!"😆
I mean, that's my playlist.

I’d say it’s one of those things I’d care about more than my clients, like me need for plants, candles and soft furnishings etc I need sexy music to get my work head on. Create that whorey vibe lol

When my Ipod broke, I used Radio 1 briefly and the cheery news boomed out about a right leg being found.
The left one being found the month before in the same village....and discussing if it was a med school prank? or dark deed?
They droned on and on about these bloomin trotters like forever, 'did they match?', 'were they frozen?'
I was trying to wank my client with all this debate going on, got the giggles and set him off too.
Didn't stop him cummin.

My poshest 'middle aged' regular likes Prince :).
I have a pavlovian response to Prince. He was sandwiched between Mariah Carey and Slade as I drove yesterday.
I can tell you, he made the trip back down the M6 rather more pleasurable than usual for me 8)

I use 'soul' radio thing on Spotify

There's a good one on Spotify called 'Walk Like A Badass' which I use if I get bored of my self-made 'Work' one.
-
I always play a Spotify daily mix whilst I'm working, which is usually dance and house music. It's background music, not loud, but the other day as a client left he said the meet was great apart from the music which was "shocking"... which made me wonder what others listen to/play whilst working?
-
Merged again :)
-
I used to play music when I first started but I had a review saying my music choice killed the mood, so I don’t play music or any background noise now and I much prefer it. I can’t imagine playing music now I think it would put me off but everyone is different
-
My spotify is that varied I gave up on a work playlist. Be all over the place, going from likes of Marvin Gaye to Def Leppard to Little Mix

Same! Can be a bit distracting when my play list goes from Joan Armatrading to Jay Z...

Xx

I used chill out music either hotel jazz or spa sounds they didnt mind it just went on without me having to fiddle with the damn selection
I highly recommend it in a hotel room the staff think your listening to music instead of disguising the moaning sounds !
Id like to put on lana Del Ray in the background 🙂

But that's surely the best way to do it! That way if a punter hates one song then at least there's a fighting chance he might like the next one - mine bounces around all over the place :D

If I had to listen to a dance/house mix for a solid hour I think I'd be wishing I was deaf in both ears rather than just the one ;D.

OMG I'm running to squeeze Love and Affection into my playlist right now..
A previous iteration of my 1hr playlist had "California Love" (the full version). A punter once said, post coitus, "Well I think I can say this is the first time I've cum to Dr Dre" 😂
Like Amy, I have very eclectic taste in music, but for my playlists I select for length and tempo. EG my first two songs are fairly slow, then build up the rhythm gradually. All my playlists have the same penultimate song (No Diggity) so as soon as I hear the start of that it prompts me to start encouraging them to finish.
If I only used playlists of songs I love, the majority of my clients would be banging to Iron Maiden 😂

My original penultimate song was Exit Music by Radiohead, which I picked because it was calming and covered the last few minutes of breather before getting dressed time. I moved it forward ten minutes because I realised if anybody noticed it might be a little too obvious a Time To Fuck Off Now :D.
I have marker songs too, so when I make new playlists or swap things around I can still spot the half hour, forty five minute and hour points before I've learned the rest :).

Hi there! :-*
I use Youtube and I search live relaxation music. It's free, no annoying ads and everyone seems to enjoy it as it's very calming (perfect for massages too).

I was thinking more the changes in tempo. One song is really slow and they are going all slow and sensual then suddenly it's a fast song and they are like chipmunks on speed 😂

Yes excellent choice

My prime or Spotify mixes always land me in the shit. 😂
Top three blunders: I will always love you/Dolly Parton, Freaky/Another Level and Fascination/Alphabeat.
-
What music do you all play in the bedroom?
I tend to have my 80s music on.
When the action is pre starting l play “Justify my love by Madonna”
When it’s time for the blow job l have it set to play “Relax by Frankie goes to Hollywood” and suck in time to that. Followed by “tease me by Chaka deanus” Starting the sex half way through Chaka Deanus. Some guys make it to “Horny by Mark Morrison” Some don’t. Then others make it to “Horny by Mousse T”
For the guys who like small penis humiliation l play “Short dick man by 20 Fingers”

I just added to my playlist Nobody does it better by Carly Simon
-
My go to is “Hottest Erotic Chillout” on Spotify lol. I sometimes play electro swing or jazz for lovers, depending to my client is. Sometimes even “Chill House Vibes”.
-
At the moment blues music is played in the background no complaints yet !
-
Trip hop stuff for me is good, Portishead, Morcheeba, Thievery Corp, Moby. And my clients in their 40s appreciate it because it’s their generation. I sometimes play some mellow jazz, blues, Miles David and Billie Holiday, especially if it’s the evening. It fills the space but doesn’t distract.
