Hotels or apartments for incalls?
« on: 31 October 2023, 07:09:00 pm »
Hi all,

I've recently only just come back to escorting properly after a break. I've moved back to the East Mids area after being away since before the pandemic and have been doing outcalls. I want to take this seriously now, I don't want to tour and ideally stay within a few commutable areas eg Chesterfield/Notts/ South Yorkshire - however do you find Hotels or Apartments better? Down the line I may look for a permanant space, but until I've built myself up, I'll need to use the above.

I am however, finding hotels more expensive?

Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks

Carmen x

It’s personal choice really.

I think you’ll find prices for apartments have shot up just as much as hotels.

I don’t like apartments as there are more factors to consider these days and a lot of places have got these damn ring doorbells. Even if neighbouring apartments have them it can cause a problem.

With hotels I have the predictability and familiarity factor so I won’t even consider apartments now. I also like the security of being in a hotel.

Hey,

Thanks for that. I think I prefer hotels too.

I really need a list of workable hotels though in the Sheffield/chesterfield and notts area.

I’ll start a separate thread and see if anyone can PM me. X

Personally, I prefer apartments since they allow me to cook and I am relieved not to have to keep an eye on the cleaning service.

It might be worth bearing in mind that one person’s idea of what is workable is not another’s.

I call the hotels and ask the relevant questions that relate to what I consider workable and make my own decision.

Years ago, a lady told me a hotel was workable and I checked in only to find the block was keycarded and I would need to have gone down to collect clients. (Some ladies don’t bother about this but I do). I immediately checked out and drove back round the M25 at midnight back to my previous hotel. Oh, the touring shenanigans  ;D

So, personally, whilst other people’s opinions are helpful, I find my own research is the only thing I trust unless the information comes from a close and trusted friend in the industry.
