OMG moment. punter in public
« on: 03 October 2012, 12:45:17 am »
My 'real life' job is basically a gigging musician.

Last weekend i was doing a rowdy pub gig and a punter from a while back came right upto me when i was on stage asking if i remembered him!

Not only this but he told about 5 of his mates in the audience about me and it wasnt long before they were pointing and sniggering.

Thankfully my fellow muso's didnt catch on but i felt soooo embarrassed and a lil ashamed too  :-[

Thought id share my little anecdote. Any other omg stories??!!!

Not as bad as that, but I was at London Zoo with my then boyfriend and adult son and a punter worked there and came over and gave me a big kiss and cuddle. Boyfriend was none too happy and I said he was an ol work colleague! Well kind of true! lol

Went to a business lunch ( my office job) with a company that was trying to impress us as new clients. When I got to the table my face almost dropped when I saw my regular ( from my bedroom job) was actually the CEO who was trying to have us on their books. His face was priceless as well, he didn't know I had another job.  Long story short he got us as clients and I kept him as a client and he now tips me very well.   ;D

He was way out of order doing that!  How thoughtless and indiscreet.

Next time I see a client out shopping with his wife (I have done so several times) I may hurry over to him and snog him.   ::)

I walked from apartment to centre of some small town in Ireland and heard a guy shouting my name.I walked passed and he approached me few houndred meteres further. He asked for an appointment on the street :o I got upset but agreed,to get rid of him.
He called later and said he stopped to say hello ::) Then called me very rude when I declined to take bookings from him.Cheeky bastard.

I had a punter i had met once before at a parlour pull up next to me in his car on a deserted street as i was walking to a bus stop from the parlour and ask me to go to a hotel with him, he kept trying to convince me for about 3 minutes and was really insistent so he really weirded me out a little bit.

I was at a bus stop by my abode one afternoon when a taxi pulled up and wound down the window, "I said I haven't rang for a cab sorry" he said "it's me xxxxxx, I saw you a couple of months back early one morning, get in, I'll give you a lift" I was mortified, I didn't recognise him at all, and how indescreet is that!!!!

I am in a very professional job which could involve me getting the boot if they find out about me doing this kinda work.

When I first worked at the sauna, I had to go with this really drunk young guy; he was so drunk it was awful. He fingered me like a five year old trying to grab beetroot out of a jar.....urgh.... and then he left his boxers behind in the room!!!!

Anyway, I was in work and looking after someone, when he walked straight in! I thought SHIT if he says anything, I have had it, but thankfully, he must have been so drunk he didnt remember, or was too embarressed to say anything. Just as well, because I love my normal job.

In my normal job so far i have had 2 clients come into it (i work in a shop), i wouldn't mind but we as wgs hide how we know them but they as clients (well some of them) dont tend to do this all the time. 1st time i was stood next to my boss and the client 1 was like 'omg panda, fancy seeing you here, i was meaning to give you a call i fancy seeing you again for a booking' and walked away and my boss was like 'booking?' and i made up some cock n ball story and i think he believed it. 2nd time i was on the tills and client 2 walked over to mine with his wife (he talked about her alot and showed a pic only reason i knew who it was) and kids and went to  pay for his stuff and was like 'So you have another job huh' then when he left the guy on the till behind me was like 'whats your other job?' and i was like 'i think he mistook me for someone else n blagged it off o.O

That's a bit more in the realms of "harassment" than indiscretion, although it's that, too! On what planet is it suddenly okay for a random man to try to get you into his car to drag you off to a hotel for sex, just because he's paid for one booking in completely different circumstances previously? No sane man would do such a thing because he'd know that one scream from you and he'd be carted off by the police and assumed to be a predator (due to him, well, acting like a predator)! Certain individuals just do not have a good grasp on reality. :-\

Oh. My. God.

What kind of a human being could do that? Thats your job and he knows that by seeing you perform in public, to risk it for a cheap giggle (which if it is that funny is more funny on him than you by the way!) with him and his 5 twatty mates of shameful. You shouldn't feel ashamed, he should for his despicable behavior . x
At this point, we're going to pretend you've just read something really clever, witty and mildly humorous. Wasn't that fun!
