Talk about sailing close to the wind.
« on: 23 November 2019, 10:13:49 am »
Worked in an airport hotel last night as flying today. Niece arrived at 10pm last night but as she was conveniently in a different part of the hotel that posed no problem. I decided to stop after she arrived as would be a nightmare to get thrown out with a family member in same hotel. However I got a couple of early ones this morning.

Was well pissed off when I left my room to go to check on niece and found my last client sitting at the bar with big smile at me. I don’t think he meant harm but it made me extremely uncomfortable. He wasn’t even drinking. Just sitting there.

Breakfast with niece and two trips back to my room was all done in view of him.

I do realise this could have been a lot worse.

I won’t be doing that again.

On the bright side there was a post office inside the airport so I was able to bank my earnings.
I'm glad I got all the Cynthia Payne books before the prices rocked to sky high.

It was. It was annoying as because it ruined the off duty feeling I got after he left the room.

It's wierd seeing someone off guard, however even when at what I consider 'most' relaxed I've found a chance sighting often prompts a client to rebook - even at what I consider my scruffiest  ??? :-\
