Well, I won't be doing that again.
Had a chap this morning who rang to confirm a booking he'd made last week. He'd used his landline to call me on both occasions, and to tell me this morning that his mobile isn't working properly. It will only receive in coming calls or texts, but he cannot ring out.
I gave him the benifit of the doubt as he sounded genuine, and I didn't get any sence that he was going to mess me around.
I gave him a landmark to get to and said I would ring his phone at 12.30 so I could give him the rest of the address, and then I would be able to see him come into view as he walked up.
Either his phone isn't working at all now, or he is a TW, as I've rang 3 times and sent a text and all I get is his answer phone.
My own fault really, as if he genuinely does have a broken phone, I should have just told him to reschedule the booking, that way neither of us would be messed about. :FF :FF

Everyone gets burned from time to time. Dont beat yourself up. I dont give any guy the benefit of the doubt anymore. Follow my rules or no booking!

I think we've all bent our rules on occasion and sometimes it pays off and sometimes not, that's not a rule I'd bend though, no mobile no booking x

Iv always been wary on the landline numbers.
It's never something Iv accepted with the chaps.
But don't beat yourself up about it. Live and learn. :)
