Falke, Cervin and Wolford are all good brands and have lots of different styles and colours stockings-wise. I don't really wear hold ups but am pretty sure they will all make them too - you can get discounted ones at Stockings HQ  .

High street-wise I would maybe try M&S - apart from anything else their stockings are just about bomb proof and last for ages.

Yes, M&S are doing a new range of hold ups with seams up the back.  Tenner a pair but they're very nice.
