Hi
I was just thinking about music in the room. I hate having the radio on as the news or any dj talking puts me of. Getting distracted by the local travel report (especially when you dont drive) is a bad look. Even worse stopping for tomorrows weather. "yay sunshine and day of o we are suppose to be shagging, right"
Does any one play any cd's in the room. I'm not bringing my mp3 player in with me, but I do have this big old cd player to play copied cd's on.
What are general experiences of music in the room. I know some punters will always moan. But I find I can just zone out into the music and get on with it , much better with some music to move me. Plus if its an hour cd and I know it, it saves me looking at the clock.
Any thought or music you like to play.

I usually have music on in the room, and it's usually R and B. Beyonce, Shakira, Ciara, etc. I just buy the compilations.
I did once have my phone in playing my Spotify, and as I'm into a lot of old rock music (AC/DC etc) and some guys loved it, but alas, I felt I couldn't have my phone in the bedroom with clients ringing every 2 mins.
Go for the generic 'sexy' tracks, nothing too distracting, and as you said- it's a great timekeeper also.

I find choosing music really difficult as of course we see gentlemen of all ages and music tastes. I try avoid anything that I love in my civvie time and anything that may have emotive connections for them. I pick music which is essentially background stuff and is not irritating on low or high depending on how much noise needs to be drowned out. My 69 minute play-list on spotify includes Morcheeba, Massive Attack, Emeli Sande, Maverick Sabre, Paloma Faith and Lana Del Rey. But I have a few back up play-lists for those who find it all too wishy washy and fancy some rock, soul etc.

I use an iPod which I have created lots of different playlists on so that when the client arrives whilst he in the shower I can set the mood. Everything from easy listening, jazz, r n b, soul and light rock/pop.
I also set the playlist to times, eg half hour, hour, 2 hours and so on. When I put the playlist on I peek at what the last few songs are (I know them all off top of my head but change them now and then ) so I can move the appointment along and know when to call times up. It's good to have a few different ones so the clients don't figure out that that is how I time my bookings ;)

I can't work without music, it's good to drown out any u wanted noise aswell as set the mood, I usually stick to some Mariah or Whitney as I don't listen to them in my normal life and most clients are ok with it.

That's kinda what I do, but I play albums that are a certain length for different bookings and it helps me keep things on track.

I am the corniest of all and have no shame in playing Prince's Greatest Hits when I'm asked to lapdance..
On my outcalls, I leave it to the guy to provide the ambience, but I find most of them don't even think about it.
There is something vaguely disconcerting about entering a Stranger's bedroom on a hot, sunny day and spending 90 minutes with the window left open and the regular tinkle of an Ice cream Van in the street outside as the only music to break the silence.
Rather that though than listen to love songs with a client, which does sometimes happen! It leaves me feeling depressed to be honest. Probable tapping into stuff best kept hidden :-\

I found guys fuck in time to the music so chill out music makes them more gentle and less vigorous and "Exxxlicit Chill" is cool funky chill out music with audio from porn movies overlaid with it, so there is lots of moaning and sex noises to set the scene mixed perfectly with chilled ambient house music. I was having visions of me playing this during bookings not sure how clients would react as this sounds to off putting for me. Soft music works well, so far so good.

I used a friends house for incall ages ago and I would use his radio. I don't know how to work one so I just asked to put on any station.
Let's say I heard Taylor Swift's songs so many times while with a client usually my mouth being full or hands at work I'll never listen to her the same again.

Also been playing Bonobo's new album - The North Borders, a lot lately with one track removed for being too glitchy, another removed for having distracting lyrics and a few from his previous album added on to bring it up to about 1 hour.

It depends how I feel... I like soft and romantic rock and I like also healing and new age music, Indian music and so on...
my clients seem to appreciate it.
However, I think they do not even listen the background music... they have their ears in their pants ;D ;D ;D

Morcheeba & Massive attack here too - also for one hour bookings I play Air - Moon Safari - the album is 43 minutes long - when it goes quiet it's nearly chucking out time. ;D ;D

I'm actually now wondering if hotels play spot the prossie by listening to our music after people also saying they too play Morcheeba and Massive Attack. Is it as bad as wearing Angel EDT? :o ;D

I'm a rock chick too, but prefer to listen to stuff that I would not otherwise listen to... although have had things on like the Clash and heavier stuff in the past, but I like having 'work music' not mixing with non work music.

I average about 6 to 8 guys a day and have toured lots of different cities with their various music scenes from London to Glasgow and am convinced guys fuck in time to the music. Unless you have a very hard wearing pussy then chill out music seems to work best for all ages as it makes them spend longer on just laying there and receiving or giving oral. I made the mistake of playing my preferred music of dance/house and it made the guys far too energetic lol. With chill out music there is a cross selection of dance, pop, classical so it appeals to most age groups. The chill out music blended with erotic audio from sex movies works really well, it adds a sexy seductive feel to the music. My field reports seem to suggest it was enjoyable for them. ;D

I asked a client today about the that type of music, he told me not his thing. So just goes to show that not everyone will like it. It is hard to have a conversation with those noises playing my clients also like to feed their verbal skills as I massage also.

Clients ask me what's playing sometimes so now I can share it with them by telling them where they can find the playlist on my site. I was about to add Sade- By Your Side, at one point but I read somewhere that it's the most popular song for wedding receptions so maybe not ideal to make a client listen to his bridal waltz while getting it on with an escort..
