Another busy day for you Mellow ?  Don't take too much out of yourself.  ::) 8)
Beauty is nothing to do with having a pretty face.
It is about having a pretty mind, a pretty heart,
And most importantly a beautiful soul.

And it's goodbye 'carmey'. Can all members please look to the bottom rightish of this post, and note where the 'Report to Moderator' button is?

I've had a busy day so have only just seen it, but this should have not got anywhere near as far as it did. We don't know if somebody is breaking the rules unless we're alerted to it - please remember that SAAFE is for sex workers only, and if the ill-informed want to showcase their bigotry and ignorance regarding us and our work, there are plenty of other places online for them to do it. They are not wanted, needed or welcome here.

I'm not the least bit surprised that heterosexual married women would have a very black and white view of prostitution, so I really don't see the value in arguing with them.

I guess their fear is that if the women genuinely do enjoy it occasionally, than the man (their boyfriend, son or husband) is genuinely cheating.  Regardless of whether we enjoy it or not, I don't think any of us would do it for free.

Personally I always think it's hilarious when clients insinuate that we have a 'connection' and should go out on a 'date'.  If I wanted to shag someone for free I'd much prefer a woman or my husband.

It is a shame that sex work is this big, black dirty secret between the sexes.  I guess Mumsnet would be even more horrified if they knew the majority of gay, male porn stars are actually heterosexual men, some of them even have families!

Blessed are they who can laugh at themselves, for they shall never cease to be amused

I got out on the wrong side of the bed and let her rile me.    I get so mad sometimes when I've offered my opinion and it just goes into thin air, I did give up in the end when even my riled brain realised it was hopeless to try and reason with her :FF

I knew only SWs were allowed on here but for some reason brain didn't connect that with her.........doh and therefore didn't even think of the report to mod button.

I will remember that next time.

Yeh I know we can all get caught out sometimes, like me today, looking back at the posts it was almost like she was trying to wind me up but I didn't realise at the time.

If I'm in a bad mood anyway thats when I get mad and respond.

If she was for real then yeh its like they are looking for someone to blame, not themselves naturally!

Don't worry - there's always the odd one will slip through the net and we can't be online twenty four hours a day.

That said, discussion is fine but slagging off or attempting to speak for/state the views of people who cannot join the board to participate in the discussion is not fair - we already know how irritating it is when it's done to us by those who claim they know what we think and feel better than we do. If anybody wants to get stuck into the Boden massive, I suggest they head over to their forum and do so there (those who aren't there already, anyway).

Do also bear in mind that it's precisely this sort of smug, bilious, rampant misanthropy that keeps most of us in chocolate biscuits :D.

I didn't mind the fact she was inaccurate, it was the smugness that I found hard to take. You are right though Amy, and the next time a Client brings me champagne, chocolates and a wedge of cash and tells me his wife doesn't understand him I shall drink a toast to Mumsnet as a 'thank you' - and then I'll shag him blind :)

Did that.
No comments in the last 5 days so I guess they've been deleted.
Pity, I was gonna ask Carman to pass my number over to her hubby
as I suspect he could use my services.   ;D

In truth, this is so dubious.
carmenelectra  posts in the comments section of a thread on another site
on Wed 05-Oct-11
then it gets commented on here, 4+ months later
and Carman just happens to see it!
Yeah right.

Total fake.
Carman is a journo.

I'm sorry, but I have nearly wet myself laughing at that. It is the absolute definitive description of a typical mumsnet user....

You can Google Boden and view a range of tedious products for women with much time on their hands to dedicate to styling themselves, their home and their oh-so-darling offspring perfectly, yes.

I think it's more that people who haven't had cough-hundred sexual partners don't realise that physical attraction often doesn't play much part in whether or not you can have a good time being sexual with someone.

Just wait :)
