Regarding lingerie, anyone got any ideas for decent quality bras for girls with strange sizes... that don't break the bank? I'm 28DD. Primark does not stock my size, as far as they are concerned it just doesn't exist. I know you get bra "equivalents" that still kind of fit the breast shape, but 28DD bras are a far superior fit on me than the "equivalent" 30D, 32C, 34B etc. But they're a bloody pain to find!

Also, thanks TheChemist for the mention of the Freedoms site, it's excellent!
I am am 30f and get most of my bras online from bravissimo, they do some really pretty ones and some more sexy stuff for work, x
If something is not perceived it doesn't exist.

I like Bravissimo too (and they even have sports bras in my size) but they're not exactly cheap. I've bought bras before and had the back taken in as Dexi suggested and provided you don't over do it (I've found more than a couple of inches each side and they start looking odd) it works fine.

You can bulk buy wet wipes from Amazon by subscribing to them - I tried this and it was great value but they leave them in the original box so I stopped it (not having any good reason as to why I'd be getting massive cases of Huggies delivered every few weeks  :-\).

Wet wipes are better to remove make than proper make up removers as no alcohol in them so don't dry out the skin

Shop around esp for hotels  you will go crazy but worth it

My hotel in Dubai was 680 for 10 nights inc breakfas the 20 percent sales tax
On booking ,com the same hotel and dates was over ?1400+ tax

Split tickets on trains
Ie Bristol to York / Leeds often over ?100
Bristol to Manchester 30 -40 Manchester to York Leeds 15

Use mega bus bristol -Leeds. .15 quid

If flying long haul do a stopover for 24 hrs and the ticket is often cheaper than flying direc
A flight to Hong Kong is say ?700 but do a min 1 day stopover in Dubai and it's  ?450

I find M and S really good for stockings. They last. But I also keep nails short (good for sticking them up bums!) and take stockings off immediately for a quick rinse each time.

I gave up on Primark a while ago, for personal use, but I wear and wash lingerie so frequently for this job it's a good idea.

I find the M & S stockings end up round my knees, I buy the hold ups instead and just wear them like stockings.

Thanks everyone for the heads up on value  quality stockings  :)
Another one of my favourite shops is Poundland, it's great for babywipes, impulse bodyspray, moisturiser (it's very similar to E45 if
not the same and leaves your skin really soft, also good for massages because it doesn't have any fragrance) and a thousand other things..
The only down-side is I go in intending to spend a fiver and come out with 25quid worth of stuff coz it's 'only a pound'  ;)
I don't have to be perfect, but I'm perfect at being me!

My frugal list...
- I buy second hand when I can so have bought some lovely basques and suits on ebay really cheap.
- I built and manage my own website so no web designer fees.
- I take my own photos using a digi camera on a tripod.
- I'm independent so save on agency fees.
- And the good old Freedoms shop for condoms.
- I save on make-up remover, toner and moisturiser by using the "oil cleansing method" with coconut oil instead.
My only extravagance I suppose is hiring an accountant because although I'm probably capable I just can't face doing my accounts myself.

I'm not very busy so lingerie, clothes, bags etc last me absolutely ages. I've not bought stockings for years as I'm still using my old faithful batch of John Lewis ones.

I try and save money on hotels by booking online in advance to secure rate, then check on the day before I travel there to see if any last minute deals are on, and if they are I cancel my booking (used with a pay as you go card with no money on in an alias name) and rebook.

Food, when staying in hotels take a good sized handbag down to breakfast and fill it up, bottles of water, fruit etc.

I also take every tea bag, sugar, milk, bathroom consumables from every hotel each day so staff replenish each day and I have a stash of them for clients or myself.

I have a few empty bottles of water which I fill up with tap water and put in the fridge, no ones ever noticed.  And I buy cheap mouthwash but fill up Listerine bottles for clients.

I have also swapped work clothes dresses, bedroom shoes etc and uniforms but never knickers lol.

Hadn't thought about bulk buying wipes - I tend to buy baby wipes; is that what you buy from eBay? What do you type in the search function?

'Bulk wet wipes' some thing like that on Ebay. It works out cheaper than buying single packs.

Being a 28G myself, it is incredibly difficult to find bras to fit me, but as I mentioned on another thread, if you find a bra you like try it on were the cup actually fits correctly around the bust and then have the back taken in.  I'm sure if you went to Primark or M&S and tried on several sizes, you'll find the right cup size, and providing the back isn't to big then you can have it taken in.  Still cheaper than buying from specialist shops.

I'm a 32GG. I use Brastop.com, they almost always have a sale on and actually have a wide range of bras that fit, and they arrive like the next day. Check them out!

Pound shops often have very cheap deals on brand-name wet wipes, and even lingerie in the bigger ones - definitely worth a check!

I do my own eyelash extensions. Cost me ?10 to buy all the stuff needed (rather than ?85 monthly at the salon) & it works better than weaning mascara that your going to have to reapply between every client & risk getting it down your face. It takes a bit of practise to not have crazy spider lashes but they look really nice if you do them well. (Literally individual not the the 3 clumped together) I go for the B curl in 25mm thickness as it's same price but better lashes.

where do you shop around to get your hotels cheaper? I normally use booking.com or laterooms and in a pinch the hotels own site? The difference between 680 and 1400 is astronomical, how did you do it Parisb or anyone else knowing how to get nice rooms at a bargain for that matter. :)

Trivago compares all the sites at once.
