And the "What time do you start in the morning?" Well I usually 'start' when I get my first booking because I can't really start on my own now can I?! A lot can't seem to grasp the idea of 'appointments' I think *some* think all escorts just sit around all day waiting for the phone to ring, desperate to take any booking that comes their way.

I once had a client kept calling me every night wanting a booking 'now' I turned him down loads of times then when he finally listened and made an appointment I asked him why he had kept on calling me with short notice, he said he just assumed that because I had a ad up that I was always available and just constantly sat with my phone keen to make as much money as possible, when I asked him didn't he think I could possibly have other things in my life such as family, other commitments etc, like most people who work in any other job do, and he said no that hadn't even crossed his mind, he assumed I was single with nothing else going on but answering the phone and doing bookings. I remember thinking at the time that *some*  don't even see us as actual human beings.

There are pros and cons to this, I have another 'by appointment' job - however if folk cancel there's no replacement (because they do book in advance), whereas sex work can be pretty fluid.

Another thing which has been assumed is that I live in my incall place, one repeat booker has apologised and we've both changed our approach to each other as a result. He genuinely thought I was sat there, everything ready and waiting. I must hide my very varied wardrobe very well.

Also we are often part of a fantasy - the fantasy to the punter is that we are just 'sexy' and available..................of course if they've never seen our side there's also no way of knowing how we do work. Some are sat waiting, some of us are not. When I've revealed my occupation to people not involved in sex work, a few have never thought there'd be an appointment or screening system. Assuming men just wander in and out, do what they want leaving some cash as payment.

Yes you make some good points here, if we get a no show there's usually someone else calling for short notice so it can work in our favour  :)

Even if you did work from home its still quite unreasonable to expect you to just drop everything and see someone at short notice.

And yes a lot of people tend to assume all sorts about the way escorts work, a few inexperienced clients have casually said things to me, in all seriousness, like "Do any of your clients ever hit you"  ???

I hate being asked what time is your latest booking? What time do you start? How about tomorrow? The weekend? Do you work Sunday's?

I start when I want to start and finish when I want to finish and sometimes decide on the day if I'm working or not depending on how I feel, how tired I am, if I have other stuff that needs doing, or if I just need a break and am not in the mood. The last thing I want to do is say I finish at 8pm when it's 11am in the afternoon that I am being asked. If I get only 1 booking all day and that's for 5pm which is long enough to have to wait as it is, the last thing I then want to do is have to wait until 8pm for the callers booking to come along when I can just do the 5pm, see if anything else pops up by 6.30pm and then chill and have my dinner and relax in front of the TV for the evening. As for Sunday's, well I do need a day I can get stuff done in the house like the cleaning and tidying and washing and family may well drop in unannounced too so hard to say yes I work Sunday's until the actual day.

Can't stand the what time you working til questions!!! Usually they are wanting a really late booking I wouldn't do in the first place like 11pm. Sod off! Why not get straight to the point and just simply ask if I can do an 11pm booking?

If I am asked these questions I just turn it around and ask what time suits them

They get no more info from me than that and if they are serious they will tell you when they want the booking, to which you can reply yes or no.

I have a start and finish time, I also work certain days of the week, so I don't understand why it's an odd question. What time do I work to questions in the morning are usually when they are trying to organise their own day.
Some do accept advance bookings so will ask. I do accept advance bookings if they complete the booking form.
If I'm ill and not working as a result, I put something on my profile at the top (not the header) to say I'm ill and not taking bookings. My phone will be on for a few hours whilst I contact any bookings I have made to cancel if it rings I explain sorry I'm not working as I'm ill and hang up.
The ones that assume that we are always available is because of the convey belt sp's.
Some sp's do see ss at short notice.

It's like the how many times can I pop question. It's because some will only allow one pop even on 1 or more hour bookings. Some charge extra per pop.

I get asked all the above and I answer them or refer back to the profile if they start asking too many questions. They will call back either that day for the appointment or a few days later.

They will have had different experiences with sp's and so rather than thinking we all work the same they ask questions.

I always use this now. I have someone I have seen before who now always texts: "How soon can you get to me?" I ignore him, 10 minutes later he calls and I ask how long does HE have? It is always a 30-45 minute slot for me to drop everything and drive to his city for his pleasure..
The booking lasts under 5 minutes and is super easy, but his attitude annoys the hell out of me and I flat refuse..  >:(

I work set hours and days, and occasionally throw in an extra day or stay on later if desired. I like to work that way! Although, my personal life doesn't really allow for "fluid" work days - I have set days where I CAN work, so I do.

I generally always work at my advertised times too, after always slacking off early and not being consistent when I first started. Although, if I am due to start at 10am, but don't have anything scheduled til say midday, and there is little chance of me filling that time at late notice, then I'll take my sweet time in getting to my work place. 9/10 times I wont have missed any bookings by doing so. This morning, however, I didn't have anything scheduled til 11am, reg texted at 9am trying to book 30 mins at 10am. I had fully intended on swinging by the coffee place for my fix then slowly sauntering in. Instead, I threw myself into my car and drove the 40 mins to my flat, buzzed that I had got the time filled :-P

Again, with booking requests for nearer my finishing time, I will accept and honour them. I never used to, but I have become wise in my experience and now know that even one extra booking is better than cutting my day short then kicking myself for losing work out of sheer impatience or laziness. I now use any inbetween time to work on other stuff. Sometimes I go for a nap.

Or my phone  won't  ring all day, I'll  go to sleep about  11 pm, wake up at 7 am to 13 missed calls, smh. I mean, I wouldn't  have SEEN you anyway, but in no ad of mine does it say anywhere  "OPEN 24/7 BECAUSE I NEVER SLEEP."

ALL my ads, come to think of it, say 8 am to 10 PM bc I'm  old & tired & frankly, you really  don't  want  to  see me  after  10 pm; I can assure  you  that  you  won't  be  getting  the  best  Celeste.
