Hiya hope everyone’s well!
Has anyone had the chance to watch the channel 4 documentary ‘men for sale’ yet? Wondering what people thought, I was pretty shocked by the man from Durham :-\
-
I've watched it in response to your post.
I'm not sure if the Durham man is genuine, real or just making it up as he goes along.
The tantric massage Ruben looks genuine, I found his very informative, well laid out website. He has 'As seen on Channel 4' displayed. The agency visit seemed like a joke, and of course the woman running it used the usual 'companionship only, whatever happens between consenting adults....' disclaimer. The roofer sounds as if he does ok as gay for pay.
As a programme it doesn't address anything, so far seems pointless fluff.

Yeah, I watched it too. £15 an hour?! Yeah right ::)

Against my better judgement (because unlike the general public who may find this type of program titillating) I have little interest in edited and deliberately shocking documentaries on sex work, I suffered it.
It screamed a large dose of fakery to me and if thousands of men rethink their careers and imagine they can live the high life this way, well good luck to them. They'll need a shed load 😏

Pahaha I love a documentary me, yeah it was insufferable but it made for some mindless background watching ::)
