Anyone have a dog & find it difficult /expensive finding dog care while touring?

Not sure this is the right section.

Anyone similar to myself, and have a dog but finding it increasingly expensive to find a dog carer whilst touring?

I know some girls take their dogs with them whilst touring within the UK. But not alsways doable. And especially whilst touring abroad I've found within the London area espessially it can cost up to £200+ a week.

Wondered if any others in the London area would be up for taking turns helping each other out with this to save funds. I know I wouldn't mind looking after another's (well behaved dog) whilst they're away. Used to live with another working girl years ago and it literally was a life saver taking turns having the dogs whilst other abroad. Great company for the dogs too.

There isn't a 'right' section, because it isn't a sex work question.

There are various sites which offer dog walking and dog sitting services (borrowmydoggy, for example) if you Google as well as more trad solutions like kennels. I daresay there are pet care forums that will know far more about it, so they would be the places to ask.
