'Kind Regards'
« on: 02 April 2025, 01:13:48 pm »
Anyone else find that men who put this are always timewasters, or is it just me?

In 10 years I've never had anyone turn out to be genuine who says 'kind regards' in comms.

I find that pretty weird that EVERY.SINGLE.ONE is a timewaster.
These days there are no Prince Charmings. A girl just has to be her own hero

I've never noticed this.

TWs usually just sound like TWs most of the time.

There is such a thing as a stupid question and there is not a first time for everything.

One I've seen multiple times always puts this or ''best regards'' after every message

I've not noticed a correlation with regards as such, but I find overuse of babe, hun, x, xxx a sign someone could be difficult to make arrangements with or non-commital.

Kind regards doesn't bother me particularly but for some reason "take care" niggles me a bit. It's not something I think of writing at the end of a text/email.  It sounds just a tiny bit patronising. 🙄

The overuse of the word 'babe' and 'hun' for me is always indicative of timewasters...

Exactly this.

It seems so in appropriate to address a complete stranger that you've never met before in this way when you are enquiring about a business transaction. Some men have such poor communication skills.

I haven't noticed any problem with the "kind regards" people.
