 ladies what do you think ????                                                                                                         
               person is in Hong Kong  has cancelled booking due to flight cancellation ,but wont give the flight number as he says this is private info  ..
i cant see any cancellations on the board ...and this person thinks a bit of shopping will make up for it,,, grrrrr!

Flight number is not private info.
It is for the public to access even cab companies ask for flight number so they know what to track when picking you up etc.
He sounds fishy to me a fake.

It's not, but unless the OP was meant to be collecting him from it it's also nothing to do with anything; the bloke might have been flying from somewhere completely different or not flying at all and personally I'd just be happy that he bothered to cancel rather than just not turn up. What they do before they arrive and after they leave is none of my business.
