I've seen a huge increase in TW calls too. Energy sucking.
If not sure I halt their flow and tell them to ring in 10-15, 30 minutes. I find mostly genuine ones have the patience to do this.

Interesting quick side note:

I went to see my GP this morning for a face to face consulation and instead of your tipical quick 5 min "in and out straight to the point" interview she spent 20 minutes ranting non stop about how the general public's mental health has gone down the drain and she was getting all sorts of time wasters, angry people threatening with  nonsense and crazy calls in general. This had hampered her mood (which is at presently a very low point- or so she said) and was trying to figure out how to deal with this new situation so it doesn't burn her out. It seems her "good patients" (aparently I am one of them) were paying for the bad mood caused by incessant time wasters.I've never seen her so angry.

I was not sure if I was at my GP's or reading the saafe forum  ::) ::) :D but it made me feel better lol!

I really feel like just going home but have paid for the room so will stick it out.  Nothing but timewasters & no shows ringing/messaging today.  It is very disheartening when you’ve travelled, paid for room, child care, lied to whoever about what your doing today.  No I’m not having a good day!!  I’m hoping to get them all out the way today & next time I work the tw scum will leave me the fuck alone 🤔

And that’s the only word for them scum
Last week after doing shit for over a month I had a good week
Come this week every single day cunts on the phone and email so I’ve made fuckall again
Hopefully you will get something whilst you are there .

I could of done a couple of regs but I put them off as I just wasn’t in the mood by then, shame they didn’t contact me first instead of later this afternoon! Some days can be so good & straight forward but days like today make you feel like crap & wonder why you bother.

Had 2 timewasters as usual message  on aw earlier , then someone wanted to see me later in the afternoon and I just couldn’t be arsed , I rather that they if are   ( genuine ) ring or message early in the morning im more in the mood as when the day is shit and goes on I can’t bother to get ready .

Reading this thread and what your going through too makes me realise what were all up against in this industry.
I must get these callers to phone back in 20mins at least in the slim hope they are genuine and call back or a timewaster that  is put off and dosnt bother.
I've really learnt plenty reading all the tips and experiences.
I wish I could keep motivated but it's not realistic after 3 or 4 tw. I become mentally  tired and switch off earlier probably missing genuine calls.
The good clients keep me motivated 😊

Ocassionally if I get too many TW, I answer '(such and such's  receptionist... how can I help?'. Then I'm extra formal and brief and it can help put off the jerkoffs who really lust to talk to the girl in the photo.

This has been killing my mood lately too. I have no energy for dealing with the phone these days. So many fucking idiots calling all the time and I just give up some days trying to work because they give me a migraine.

I have noticed the t wasters are not messaging or calling as much now. Many are blocked.
They move on to torment other ladies unfortunately.

I find that you do get to a tipping point when you work an area consistently in that all the timewasters present themselves and therefore get blocked. It's when you get to a new area and the enquiries are crazy busy that you have to start the weeding out process all over again!

I was in Telford last week and the timewasters mentally exhausted me, so much so that I didn't work on the weekend before I left.
I don't know where they came from as I never had a problem on my previous tour there.
I won't return.
I've got a zero tolerance but some of them were confirming then cancelling last minute.
Never known anything like it!

After many years in this job I have some tricks.

In my VivaStreet and FridayAD ad, I put my number in the part that they have to look for it and I have seen that the amount of Tw has dropped, those guys really take away the desire to work from anyone.

At the end of the text of the description I put, for example:

"Phone: Clip in the AD for see my number. (Please Not text, not private call)"

With this trick, the number of tw who spent all the time bothering has fallen ...
