Usually I have a huge guilt trip if I turn down an appointment, particularly if I could do with the money - like now, after a long holiday and then having to take a couple of days off sick
But I have just told a gentleman who is quite clearly in a pub, and says he's been out for a few hours, that "I don't see men who have been drinking, we should leave our appointment for another time." and I don't feel bad about it at all
He called back, I'd already saved him as 'drunk', so I rejected his call. If he calls back another day, sober, he can see me then.
So it's quiet, at a time when I could really do with it not being, but there are other things for me to be doing, and I'll manage without taking bookings from every Saturday night drunk that calls
Now, phone is off for the night... glass of wine I think! What? Oh, it's ok for me...
