Lois, you're free to post threads about bookings in whichever way you see fit, but other members are just as free to disagree with you and say so - this does not mean they have a 'superiority complex'; it just means they disagree with you and the people who do as far as I can see have all explained why? Equally, if it's meant to be humourous then all well and good, but as with any audience some people will share your sense of humour and others won't and there's no point getting defensive about it.
Getting upset because not everybody wants to laugh at posts ridiculing punters and calling them names because of things which they can't do anything about (as I think Mirror put it) is just silly - there will always be dissenting views and I would think plenty of people would see this as unkind and unfair, especially given the gloating about spending his money. It's nothing to do with whether or not the person concerned is identifiable; it just - to some people - leaves a bad taste. That doesn't make anybody right or wrong, it's all personal opinions which we're all (including me I might add, since I've been a forum member far longer than I've been a forum admin and I've been a prostitute almost twice as long as that) entitled to.
It's a stressful time of year and judging by other posts here some people are having a hard time, but whilst venting is a useful thing if it makes us feel better I agree with Kay that the endless negativity is getting incredibly wearing (and more than anything else I sympathise with those who seem to be getting a constant stream of bad bookings) I also think it wouldn't hurt to keep some sense of proportion. Even my horrible booking last week netted me a couple of hundred quid - I doubt the folks working in the supermarkets and department stores at the moment would be getting the violins out; in fact as I used to do just that I know they wouldn't.
A WG defending a Punter... That's gotta be a first?!!!
Why Eve? Are all your clients that awful?
This forum is for sharing experiences, asking and answering questions and support for sex work related issues. It is not a platform to slag off punters, men generally or anybody else and as the rules at the top of this board state, whilst relating unpleasant experiences is all part of why we're here, baseless and sweeping negativity towards groups of people on the basis of gender, age, ethnic background or punter status is not, because it's bad for everybody.
