I guess it was a bit OTT with the description of how ugly he was but I would have found it similarly exhausting and annoying. I find people like that harder than the ones who are just dumb brutes.

Lois that post was hilarious. But I agree with what Amy said, that the guy just wanted to feel James Bond for a day. When I get someone like that I'll just start daydreaming, switch my "attention button" on "OFF" mode and nod at him for an hour with eyes wide open. Every 4 minutes I'll go: "Reeeallly???" as to make him think I'm slightly interested (I've gotten really good at it with practise). I don't want to waste my mental energy analyzing discourses that makes no fucking sense. I get payed for my company. Extra services like Plumbing, therapy, house keeping etc... are NOT included.

Long live small penises. I breathe a sigh of relief when I see tham it means if I have more bookings that day and the next I'm not going to be uncomfortable. When your first booking of the day is huge it just throws a wrench in everything.

Yes, I'd also never call someone names based on having a small penis, or anything about something that they cannot control. It's not fair, and it's not how I view clients.

To be fair he's anonymous, no one knows his identity so he hasn't been 'hurt' in any way...

Lois's post was just a funny light hearted account of daft behaviour on his part but hey that's what we get paid for :-)

I used to see a client who sat in his nappy for 2 hours, and just talked and talked and wanted me to talk back (about nappy changing and being a naughty boy), there was virtually no physical work involved, but the talking and farting around just cooked my brain, and I was always leaving his flat mentally exhausted, not able to do anything more that day. stopped seeing him

Much prefer real action to 'improvisaction'.

Having said that your post did make me feel a bit sad for him as it did just sound like he was trying to (in a completely misguided way!) impress you and maybe just wanted to feel special for an hour or two. But that's easy for me to say as I didn't have to see him!! Maybe if I had I would want to chew my own arms off with boredom too

Just my two pennorth's worth...

I've noticed quite a few threads started over the past few weeks that have been, if I'm honest, pretty trivial and/or could have been slotted into an existing thread (the 'annoy' and 'how not to book' ones in particular). If we all started a new thread everytime we had a timewaster, no show or irritating client, the boards would soon be overwhelmed.

So perhaps sometimes it's worth just taking a few deep breaths and counting to 10 before you post something that you'll probably have forgotten about the next day anyway?
