Diet and exercise how about start off lightly with a jog then take it from there. All these fad gadgets usually get hyped up. To sell more.

Thank you but as I've already said, the diet and exercise is a given. The waist trainer is something extra that I want to do.

When I loose weight, I loose my curves but I like curves. I just don't want the belly and thighs that go with it in order to have curves so I'm starting a diet and exercise plan for Jan and wanted to try this out as well to try and keep some shape while I lose weight.

I don't know if I'm making myself clear here or if I'm speaking gibberish so I apologise that hardly anyone seems to know what I'm talking about.

That's the thing though, with weight loss it eventually goes from every part of your body. I've always wanted a slimmer waist and bigger bum, but the first place my weight seems to drop is from my legs and bum :-(

I had a personal trainer once who was convinced that body shape can be changed with the right exercises, I do think while you're young its worth a try, look at body builders how their shape changes dramatically.

This is quite possible. I had a small bum, thicker waist and by training both my upper body, bum and backs of legs (hamstrings) intensely, training remainder of the body and using a tailored diet I have improved my curves, whilst also lowering my body fat at the same time. I have a much better posture, and figure as a result.
