Yikes!  I am always nervous about this at my Travelodge as the cleaners clearly know what I am up to but so far they've all been lovely. 

All I was doing is going to reception to meet the men and that was it. There was never any staff in reception anyway!

Sounds like this was the issue. I havent worked from a hotel in ages but I would never meet a client at reception! If the hotel is keycarded then I would meet them outside - if its not then theres no reason for you to meet them at reception, you just need to direct them to your floor you are on. Even if the reception staff werent there, they have cameras there coz the till is there so I can only assume they saw you on the camera feed meeting loads of guys....

Im genuinely gutted for you but all you can do is take this as a lesson learnt and make changes to try and ensure this doesnt happen again for you in another hotel. Lol

That's awful and a fear of mine with hotels,  I did use a few but just felt too watched and paranoid, much prefer serviced apartments but saying that I just booked into one that's got a ring doorbell that they did not disclose, Really got me feeling Anxious so I disconnected the WiFi. I even still feel anxious about using new apartments and stick to the ones I feel most comfortable to get on with work without any nosey people.

I hate how you can be the nicest and a well behaved respectful guest and cause no trouble but be treated like a low life because of sex work stigma....Still prostitution is stuck in the dark ages. I know it makes no sense to get annoyed at this attitude and just enjoy the good money and free time i get and not suffering a boss giving me orders but I get annoyed that we get harsh judgement.

I hope hen night and stag do guests  trashed the hotels.  sex workers are constantly judged by their staff . Yet most of us are discreet and leave the rooms tidy and clean yet  treated unfairly .

I'm too nervous to work from a hotel. I've done it twice. First time I was so worried they'd know what was going on, I only saw one reg. Second time I saw three regs and was so anxious, I won't do it anymore. I even had a door wedge so the maids couldn't burst in but I was so stressed.
