So I used to work weekends but only took new clients on a weekend if they booked in advance or I would be happy to take same day bookings from people I knew because the clientele on a weekend was always much, much different from week days.
Week days, we all get our fair share of numpties but fucking hell lol, the weekend is a nightmare, particularly a Sunday.
I haven't worked any weekends this year as I decided to stop doing them so I could get my social life etc back and I really don't miss working weekends at all. I feel a lot better for it and I haven't felt burnt out once this year so far so therefor having a much better attitude and feeling much happier in my job.
I decided to work today and next weekend as I'm going away on holiday but it's only 11.25am (a half hour before I'm due to start) and I'm throwing in the towel already. My phone has been one ned (chav) after another, still pissed and partying from the night before and I can hear their friends in the back ground.
I'm just not used to this so unless a normal grown up phones me, it ain't happening.
Anyone else find the weekends completely different from week days but in a bad way?

I quite like weekends, particularly Sunday's but they are very hit and miss. Had no choice but to do weekends for a long time due to uni so I guess I'm used to it. I find weekends a lot more laid back than weekdays, plus I'm not too bothered about hungover clients. Don't like pissed ones though so tend not to do weekend nights anymore.
Today might be a bit weird with it being Father's Day

No I don't work nites either.
These ones that are pissed are still pissed from the nite before as they're with their mates still partying.
Maybe I need to lighten up, I'm just not used to that sort of clientele and I get really anxious as to what's gonna walk through the door.
I've just had a few really bad experiences with neds but when I think about it, I've had far more bad experiences with so called mature grown ups.
Maybe I'm over thinking it.

I did offer Sundays for a short while but rapidly gave up after I found that only 1 out 8 clients actually turned up. :FF

Yeah that's another thing, the timewasters are rife in Glasgow particularly on a weekend x

It likely varies by location: perhaps in suburban locations it's a different story. But in my city centre location the type and class of Sunday punters is definitely different.

I totally agree x

I'm in a rural location, most Sunday morning calls are pissed up from the night before. I do have a few good Sunday advance bookings, but most of the short notice ones are either under the influence, badly planned, or haven't read my details and think I'm in Manchester. During the week most think I'm in a different city still 2 hours away.

I've since spoken with a few normal decent human beings. I should have had more patience but I ended up making other plans (non work related) because I just couldn't see it getting any better.
But you need to have the patience of a saint in Glasgow sometimes.

Hang in there Kendra! Sunday is the only day of the week that I'm always off my civvie job so I always advertise a Sunday. My other days off vary every week. I find a Sunday quite good usually here in Glasgow. Yeah you get the odd coke head chancing his arm still partying from the night before but the phone always rings with normals.
I thought Sunday would be a day that guys would struggle to get away from the wife but I've built a Sunday regular gang.
The guy who goes out for a run mid morning and does a detour by my door. Guy who books at 12pm always. Says his wife is out then. Ive always wanted to ask if she is at church! A couple of sing!e guys who say Sundays are to boring and want a treat before work on Monday.
Sometimes I just can't be bothered though. Psychologically for me Sunday is a day for a lunch with the girls or PJs and TV.

I find in general weekends, particularly Sundays aren't that great - full of timewasters, wankers, no shows etc..
However I found myself working yesterday and today. Yesterday wasn't too bad - in the end had 4 appts but the first one wasn't until 4.30pm when I had been available since 10am!
Can't really complain at today either as I had seen 4 by 2.15pm and have finished now BUT omg what an attitude problem 2 out of 4 of them had! They were 2 new ones. First one you would've thought I had dragged him off the street and forced him to be here! Grumpy as heck, asked if he could cum twice I said yes and after cuming he asks if I do 15 min quickie (NO! But even if I did you don't go changing your mind half-way through the booking!). He reckoned he wasn't gonna get it back up but I said we've got plenty of time so we can have a play....after 5 minutes of nothing happening he then gets up saying he's off. I wasn't going to argue and tbh he was such hard work I was glad to see the back of him!
Similar situation with other guy, he cums quite quickly (not my doing - he was in control) and then says "that's it" and hurries to the bathroom. Then as I walked him to the front door he says "that was an easy ?60 wasn't it?"
I get they may feel bad for cuming quick and/or not being able to get it up a 2nd time but those sort of comments and overall attitude are unacceptable!

Maybe you attract a nicer clientele than I do Naughtyforty on weekends?
I think certain places and certain people attract more madness than others.
I've never had great experiences on a Sunday with work, that's how I only took advance bookings or regulars back when I did used to work a Sunday.
I will admit though to jumping the gun today as I think I did miss out on a couple of good clients but I was so scunnered early doors this morning that I made other plans.
A Sunday is definitely a busy day in Glasgow, there's no doubt about that.

Aaaaaaaand I ended up missing out on a lovely client I've seen 3 times before and all recent so I'm annoyed at myself for not sticking with it today x
-
I never work Sundays, it's rare that I'm ever asked to take any bookings so I don't bother as I'd rather get out and about for the day or catch up with my family. I'm busy enough during the week though so don't feel like I'm missing out by not offering to work at weekends.

I'm the exact same. I'm only planned on working because I'm going on holiday x

Holidays? ;D
Hard to imagine that. How do you cope with missing so many bookings? ;D

That's fair, I'd likely do the same. Enjoy your hols! X

Sundays are good in winter as people are home bored and it's cold outside, but May comes and Sundays die a long slow death back till September. This sunday in particular because it was fathers day it was HORRID. I think I had two phone calls. That's it.

My phone rang off the hook. I must have gotten at least 40-50 calls today but only 2 newbies sounded like normal humans and 1 client that I actually knew.
If I had more patience to put up with all those others in order to meet with a few little gems then it would have been worth it but I gave up too early in the day.
