Any question uttered from the mouth of a client tends to wind me up as they have a tendency to ask of stupidness. But i guess the one that annoys me the most is:

"Do you accept cards?"

I got that hackneyed old chestnut 'can I be your first client of the day?' from a particularly optimistic punter when I was working in London - I said 'that's fine, what time would you like to book as I normally start 8-9am ish but a bit earlier is not a problem?' He sounded a bit taken aback and told me he was looking to come around midday ::). He didn't offer to pay me to sit around all morning, funnily enough.

oh my god!!!! had a guy yesterday, book me for an hour but was about 20 mins late, (though he did call to let me know he would be late) upon arriving, said he had to cut the session down to half hour otherwise he'd be late picking up his son from school :P

A prospective client who'd made a few enquiries asked this once - trouble was he wanted a 5pm appointment. I actually did have something personal on that day, and wasn't able to accept other bookings BUT still quite unreasonable on any other day!His booking was also the minimum offered. When I asked would he put other clients aside in his line of work in a similar manner, for one who wanted meet towards the end of the working day with a similar stipulation he answered "Yes of course".
