The word you're looking for is 'moderated', and I have no more interest in anybody's opinion on me or anything else here than I do in real life. What the forum team is here to do is make sure the forum stays on topic - the topic being sex work, not the forum or how it works - and remains useful for those who want to use it. If people don't want to use it because we won't let them derail others' threads or squabble about crap, nobody is making them.

I think the OP wants support for actually getting out, rather than advice on how to improve business. Although I have found many clients take advantage of overstays, discounts the type that do this can be demanding/push/seemingly unappreciative which becomes tiring and certainly leads me towards burn out. One reason my minimum one hour is heavilyweighted pricewise is because the over run on this tends to be the same as for longer bookings.

Because the money is good in sex work compared to the other available jobs without retraining, it makes it very hard to move out of it.

The course I would be interested in is £5k plus I’d need to move to another part of the country for 2 years, neither of which is feasible financially or with current family commitments.

Luckily, I really do like working as an escort and who knows, I might decide still, to do that course in a few years time if I have the money available.

Them make that a goal, get a tin and even if you put £5 in it for every booking you do it will soon mount up, don't open the tin for 12 months at least, go for it you will feel much more empowered knowing you are working towards an achievable goal.

I am so fucking done.
I have a long-term plan but it takes time and a lot of effort; and in the meantime I'm stuck in a hopeless location.

There is a massive cost to dealing with idiots, timewasters and wankers who don't value this job, my service and time. Over time it starts to feel like it's "normal" and all there is.
I generally live in my own insulated world but it does impact the mindset and self-esteem.

I'm absolutely worn out and there are days when I feel hopeless. The thing that keeps me going is the long-term vision of how I want to organise my business.

I have gone through this a few times, and ended up taking a big break, which turned out to be exactly what I needed. This is a pretty demanding job, and I do think self-care is bloody everything, but I still burnout. I quit, and then start again, but the time off is always exactly what I needed at the time.

OP, which countries were you thinking of going to?
In Europe I think the UK is probably the best country as Europeans can't easily come here, so competition is lower.
But I just want to support you, virtual hug.

Sorry but this is not how I would ever behave it’s encouraging piss taking on all fronts. You book an hour with me you get an hour not 90 mins. I have many regulars in all different cities and I don’t have to bend the rules for anyone.

I’m glad it works for you but sounds like some advice from a client not a working girl.

I've been fed up myself and finding it hard to get the motivation to work. Don't want to go back to care work what inside to do so feel a bit stuck. I can see how people get stuck doing this. I miss having a normal life. Anyone else?

I also find a lot of people are going online now so the volume of men seeing escorts regularly is dropping and I think if you’re planning on leaving the escorting side of things maybe try going online part time to slowly drift away

I'm really sorry for the late response,  I've been feeling really down and haven't been online for a while. It's encouraging to see other women looking at realistic exit strategies. Going abroad wise I'm going where the money is. South of France, Geneva maybe. I'm avoiding the Middle East because it's over saturated and I'm scared of getting caught.

In Switzerland you have to register in the police department. In the south of France there are much more girls than here and not a lot of work.

That is right. I worked in Switzerland years ago (the German part where the money was) and I had to register. Escorting is treated as a regular job there. And yes, many girls work in South of France like in Marbella.
