I ignore any emails or texts that contain this word. Wonder if I'm turning away genuine guys but it makes my skin crawl when a guy refers to me as that.x

I had one client visit me, chewed gum continuesly, talk to me as* babes* and grab my breasts like a horn to squeeze, also now put off by being refered to as babes!!!

Anyone who enters where I am working chewing gum will get a tissue put out in front of them like the school teachers used to do. 

I can tolerate 'babes' and with a lot of patience 'darling'  but what I can't tolerate is 'hun' 'love' or 'dear'  :FF :FF :FF

I can't stand 'hun' but I have noticed that it's mainly used by other Escorts  when emailing me.

 I think the fellas' simply pick it up from them.

Babes is sooo 1989 btw! ( That's when I last used it anyway! )  ;D

Oooo don't get me started I hate Hun, babes and others I was had a text happy enquiring client after 4 texts I told him look my names not Hun it's Sofia. Sometimes clients just get too over friendly on text and they've never met you, I don't know.

Hun makes me think of Attila the Hun every time.

Did have a client who called me Honey, but I could tell the difference in how he said it. It was definitely Honey, and not Hun(shorter sound).

Strawberry I agree!  Actually I wrote a blog once and also made reference to Attila the Hun and how I hate being called Hun but the downside was lots of guys starting cracking jokes deliberately. 

Babe/Sweetheart/Hun/Darling - yes all turn offs big time.  They seem to think it goes with the territory don't they?

Dear is the only one I can stand out of the ones listed used by clients.

The others I wouldn't even tolerate from my boyfriend and are only alright with friends/family

sweetie is got to be the most irritating , i knew this girl  who refered to me as that all the time until i said please just call me by my name!!! she would never go anywhere but starbucks , everytime i see star(boring) bucks i think of her !!!!!
