Just switched work phone on to more nasty texts blaming me for him turning up with no cash, is he for real, yes I think he is!

Sorry to hear you had such a horrible time with cheapskate man.

I'm going to give my opinion on the other side of the coin about your original post. Obviously feel free to ignore and of course others are right about never, ever doing something that makes you afraid or uncomfortable, and of course you must cancel at any time if you don't want to meet with someone - fuck any negative feedback, your safety comes first.

However. You sounded excited about the booking and he sounds decent enough (provided photo ID and you didn't get a bad feeling about him). Would it be worth speaking to him again before cancelling? Sub bookings of this sort are obviously more complex than just arranging a time and rocking up. If he's an experienced and sensitive Dom (which he will need to be if you're going to meet him) he should understand your need for reassurance and be willing to put that time in to know you and understand what you need emotionally on the phone first.

I'm not saying you should do it, only that maybe speaking to him via phone to see if you would be happy putting yourself entirely in his hands might be a step to take. And if you have any doubts after that then of course don't do it.

Hey

Yes I certainly haven't written him off completely, he was very respectful. I don't want to admit I'm nervous, I don't think it's very professional, but I think in this circumstance it might be beneficial

As you said an experienced respectful Dom will understand and reassure, if he doesn't, well I know not to meet him

thanks for a fresh perspective!
