I found a grey!
« on: 27 December 2019, 09:01:17 am »
Had a few grey hairs on my head for a while now, but recently... I found a pube.

I don't want to have to go through the laborious task of shaving the whole puss-puss, so can anyone recommend any dyes? Should I pluck it? Cut it? Cry into my wine and then accept it?

Thanks!

Trim it right back and you wont notice it, I am very dark but always had a few light ones down there the grays are just starting to blend but you honestly can not tell when its trimmed back x

I have white in my hair and love it, no hair dye and no chopping it off. Same with pubic hair - really like the little glints.

If you want to go a bit more avant garde, try Betty pube dye. They do make natural colours for covering grey, but the bright pink and the Malibu (turquoise) ones are better :D

I have not found any greys down there, YET.

Mostly shaved these days but when I was au naturel I occasionally added embellishments like little sparkles or ribbons. It was very well received. Not tried the colouring but if it is non irritant, which it should be then I may take the pubic plunge.  ::) ;D

This is not the kind of encouragement I need.

Have you used it personally? It says suitable for all hair colours but I’m pretty dark, just think it could be fun ;D

I've been going grey since I was 14. Just unlucky genes from my dad's side I guess. Easy enough to just dye over it. Doing it at home is far cheaper than getting it done at a hair salon, just make sure you do a patch test on your skin first. Pube wise, I got laser hair removal, so not sure about that. Could maybe use eyebrow dye?

I've had grays in my pubes for years, but because I usually shave I never noticed.  It was only until 2 years ago I decided to have laser hair removal as I was fed up with the shaving rashes and occasional cut.  Sadly it doesn't work on gray hair because there is no hair pigment.  So, I still have to shave the damn thing to get rid of the grays, although my bikini line is much much less than what it was and so are the shaving rashes.

Indeed I have! And after seeing this I'm going to dig it out again this afternoon - I just have to choose between bright pink and turquoise blue :D

The kit comes with a prelightener, so it doesn't matter how dark your hair is and you just leave it on longer. I only lighten for twenty minutes (my hair is pretty light already) but you can leave it on for twice that if it needs it and the instructions are very helpful.

If there isn't that many grey hairs could you tweeze them instead? I don't know if it stops rashes, but you wouldn't have to do it as often and at least there's no stubble.
