On and off since 17!

I started at 40 and I'm now 50..longest time I ever stuck at anything

I started at 43 and am now 53 - but according to my AW I haven't aged a bit 

I hope this isn’t a rude question, to those of you who started when you were 40+, are you glad you waited till that age or do you wish you’d started earlier/at a younger age? xx

I started in July 2015 at 39.  My regret at not having started around 15 years earlier, as I wish I had done, comes from a) the money that was to be had back then, as I understand it, and b) the fucked-up "profession" that ate up 13 years of my life instead: teaching.  As I chose that job, I don't deserve any sympathy for what I suffered in it, though, IMO.  I left it in summer 2013.

Last month, I turned 43.

EvewithEve, what reasons, in your view, might make "late-starters" (like me) regret their late start to whoring?  Our arguably limited "shelf-life" compared to our younger counterparts?  The fact of younger competition itself?  I would like to know. 

FYI, where longevity is concerned, I copy the tactics of V24 who has posted above .  I also happen to know - and make personal use of - a good Botox and filler therapist along with a number of eminent COSMETIC SURGEONS, ha ha!

I don’t consider people who started at a more mature age to be “late-starters”, after all there is no “on-time” to have started in this profession. As has been said multiple times ‘shelf-life’ doesn’t mean a lot/means next to nothing when it comes to clients or the amount of business one might get. I wasn’t at all implying that to have started at 40+ age meant that anyone had to compete (anymore than any aged escort/dw) and therefore it’s a downside to have started at 40+. Not at all.
My question came from a place of pure curiosity as to whether people who had started 40+ felt they’d maybe ‘missed out’ on the financial side, or whether they were glad they’d waited and lived a ‘civvie’ life and could experience both sides of the coin (so to speak).
I guess it was an empty question really, as no one can tell how things would have been had it been the other way around, had I waited til I was 40+ I can’t say how my life would has gone between now and then.
I was just interested in how people who had waited felt about doing so, and how those who had started at an earlier age, felt about doing that also.
