Without contacting me first.. a random man At 4am in the morning sends me random booking request for tomorrow night for 10hrs overnight. For the comments he put don’t let me down.. ha

I don’t even advertise I do overnights so he clearly hadnt read any of my profile.. I just block and delete these types..

I even have it on my profile don’t send me a booking request without organising it with me first. Yet I still get them sending them without any communication expecting me to be available.

Messaging me by introducing himself by name and asking for my rate and location? This rudimentary information is contained in my profile if he could be bothered to read it which is the same place he got my number from. As he couldn't be bothered to call I can't be bothered to reply especially for a speculative request for 5.30pm later in the day. On top of the laziness it's just more psychological distancing. I have turned message enquiries into calls and a firm booking but none I recall which ever met this message profile.

There are times when I hate the marketing, and call and enquiry handling part of this job. I suppose there's a balance to be struck between an effortless plastic smile and utter ruthlessness versus various forms of surly jobsworth flannel. None of this is anywhere near my skillsets. I've got no excuses really having been doing the job for long enough.

He phoned after lunch but my phone was off. I'm doing my washing and can't be bothered. I've got in the mood for cleaning and reorganising my wardrobe!

I have exactly the same. I’m calls only and sometimes I get those, usually a bit lengthy texts ending with « is it ok to call? »

I ignore them:
1)if you reply those guys will go on with « ok give me 10 minutes », then « can I ask you a question first » etc. They are just wanting to text, they don’t want to call anyway.

2) it’s a stupid question really. My number is displayed, I have it all over my profile  « calls only », I have a FAQ that I don’t reply to texts/emails. So clearly it’s ok to call. What’s not ok is to text

I went out today as I didn't want to be stuck in waiting on calls since going back on a certain site I got loads of messages again although I say no text they still do it this wanker
