Phoning at some stupid hour (because whoever's doing it will know that they may disturb anyone who forgot to switch off their phone or put it on silent) then yes, but somebody who may have just finished work and decided to send some emails for the recipients to see when they got up, even if the email isn't one I expect to ever turn into a cash handover, isn't doing any harm.

Not worked up as such but annoyed that he thinks it’s okay to email at that time in the morning and also if he had bothered to read my profile then he would know not to do this at that time and he would know I’m only avail when number shows up.

I need to turn my emails off or something as don’t like being bothered with work stuff when not working but I only have one thing with the internet and so obviously if I have data/WiFi on then I’m always going to get them sent to me, I’m gonna have to put my work email account on to something else, plus doesn’t help that I’m just so past working just now.

I posted this on the wrong thread perhaps but I thought ladies had posted things similar things, maybe another thread though.

TT just dont read them, put an auto reply on saying just that. If they continue to email you anyway then more fool them. If you have notifications going to your phone turn them off. If you are not working you dont need to know. I havent looked at my phone or any of my emails since this started. All the info they need, i.e. Im not available, is on my profile and auto reply. When you do start work again you can block delete the messages. You dont owe them your time until you've got cash in your hand.

I don’t have auto reply with the email account I have, I use ProtonMail, anyone else use this? If I upgrade then I may get this so that I can as it would certainly make my life easier!

Ah - I assumed that because you said 'profile' you were talking about Adultwork where it's easy to set an autoreply :).

But just because somebody sends you an email doesn't mean you have to read it right away and I doubt they expect you would at that time of night; just switch off the notification for Protonmail on your phone and only look at them when you feel like it. I have emails that have been sitting about since Friday evening and they'll get looked at/answered tomorrow because I don't work Sundays - don't let them make you think you have to be on call 24/7 or you'll drive yourself nuts.
