Seems like the hagglers are back lately. Had a guy this morning asking about availability and prices etc. Told him I had an hour later on and the price for it. "No no this is too much I can pay you xx amount" "Um no that's my price for an hour" "Okay for 45 minutes I'll pay you xx amount" "....This isn't a negotiation buddy you know my prices and you either pay that or you don't" "Well you are a rude little girl why don't you grow up? You'll get nothing from me then you stupid *every name he can think of*" Eventually I hung up and he tried to call me back which I refused to answer and later he texted me some condescending passive aggressive apology before I blocked him.
Was the worst one I had in the last couple of days but had a few who tried to haggle and dictate to me what they are paying and for how long.
ugh wtf is wrong with them!!!
I can't remember if I posted about this guy already but I had one the other day ring me and ask if he could book me for an hour. I said yes and he said, that's ?100 right? and I'm like er no, its ?100 for half an hour. And hes like oh. oh... well that's more than i was looking to pay. Oh... erm... do you offer 15 minutes?
I don't usually, but I was bored and I hadn't had any bookings that day, and it was almost home time so i thought sod it, why not. I ALWAYS cut cheapskates off but I really needed the money so I told him I don't normally do them but would see him for 15mins, for ?60. He then tried to haggle me down to ?50. I lost my shit with him completely and told him haggling is rude and disrespectful especially since I offered him an appointment I wouldn't normally offer. He's all 'oh i wasn't haggling I wasn't' and I said YES YOU WERE, YOU LITERALLY JUST DID, NOW GO AWAY I DON'T WANT TO TALK TO YOU ANY MORE' and hung up
