I think a lot of the time they see us as like an 'informal' business, where everything is negotiable.  And they think they are special and we will change our schedules just for them.

I've even had punters quiz me as to WHY I can't work evenings and tell me how ridiculous it is that I don't, because 'all the men are working' during the day and I'd get more business.  It's like they can't wrap their tiny minds around the fact that we have families and lives away from this.

( I know I sound really angry and anti-client lately lol, I'm really not, it's just PMS week and the timewasters have been out in force!)

Woke up in a vile mood due to pain and probable pmt..... Therefore not in the mood to stand any nonsense. And here's  one thing I hate.

Guys who think they can use their schedule as an excuse to mess you around there by demonstrating they think your schedule is of no importance whatsoever. I had this twice lately.

The second one asks for an appointment last Monday but  doesn't confirm at the agreed time so doesn't get the appointment.  He emails over the weekend asking for an appointment today, so I say fine but you must confirm at the agreed time for the appointment to go ahead and what does he do?

Casually texts an hour late asking for an appointment an hour later, so I say no I'm not available then blah blah, then the following exchange:

DICKHEAD: Oh I see, yes I was caught up with work this morning and wasn't sure what time I could get over. No problem, hopefully next time x

ME: Since that's happened twice now unless you have a definite time and can stick to both that and a confirmation time - No. I run to a schedule, appointment times are specific for a reason,  Reliable potential clients take precedence

I often don't respond when guys come up with these crap excuses but today I couldn't help myself and I think he needed telling.

I think I'm going to put that in bold at the top of my profile - not that most of them will think it applies to them. 

Yeah, I think most don't care and/or think their time is more valuble then ours. I recently had a guy ask for my postcode to check distance and heard nothing further for about two hours when I recieved a text of "on the street now what number?"  What a surprise I didn't get a response when I told him off and declined to see him.
