As the title says really.
Curious to see whos made a career out of escorting and if you have do you have any regrets? Have you always enjoyed it? Have you burnt out over the years?
I've been doing this 3.5 years now, I have time's where i hate it, time's when i love it. However I can't see myself ever truely stopping. I've had breaks but always come back to it. I'm totally addicted the money!

This is my first year.
Honestly I wish I'd discovered this sooner. There are a very few bookings where I feel like I'm phoning it in, but for most of them I feel I'm giving a genuine service, and I'm proud of giving a good experience which means I'll get repeat business.

Coming up to 2.5 years, after 25 years of being an office-based professional. I did escorting alone for the first 5-6 months and now do it part-time in conjunction with another home-based freelance job. By and large, enjoy it.

On and off since I was 17/18 I used to work parlours but I've been independant since August 15. I went back to work after a break when I had my kids. Going independent was the best thing I ever did. I love work. It has it's sour moments and we all get fed up, there's been some days I've suprised myself by not murdering a client. I've learned alot this last year too. I could never stop x

Started in 1993 worked very part time with very long periods out until 2000 then went straight (with a few long term regs). Intending to return within 3 months and do it as my sole/main income. Wish I knew then what I know now (I would never have gone straight).

I'm 23 and have been working since 2012. Five years this April. I started at 18. I absolutely love this job and the independence it gives me, I also have my own business which is my passion but is hard work, so this is my way of kind of getting my fun! In my personal life I prefer the older man naturally but being my age you don't really come across much older men where I go out or socialise, so this is great!
I absolutely adore my regulars and look forward to our bookings! :D

7 years, but I am very low volume now, seeing mostly 3-4 regulars per month in my days off.
I`m not burned out, I just wanted a change and to be able to rent easily (having payslips helps a lot) and took a full time job who is keeping me fit and pays my bills :)
Probably I will carry on like this for a long time :)

1 year and 4 months give or take a week, I honestly wish I'd started this a year earlier. There are good and bad days sometimes my body aches and I'm sore but I genuinely enjoy entertaining my clients and the money is amazing, I'm living in my own apartment and it's a really nice place I'd never be able to afford that with what I was making in a civvie job and I've been able to treat myself to other stuff too. I don't know if I'll do this longer than a couple of years will see what happens I'm also a freelance graphic designer and illustrator and would like to make a living from that kinda thing eventually but it's tough.
I guess it's nice to know that if getting a civvie job and trying to make another career doesn't work out I can fall back on the skills I've learned as a sex worker. I've even learned stuff from it like about web design and marketing.

Too long! My first client was 1996 when I was dancing, break for pregnancy then back when she was 6 months old. Plan to retire in next 2/3 years but probably won't, kids get more expensive as they get older.

I love my job and don't have any immediate plans to quit, but I have started thinking about how sustainable this job is / what is the working lifespan of an escort. Ie, when will I have to start making other job plans.

Bits and pieces on and off over a period of 35 years. Started in early 20s for an agency way in the 1980s, as an off shoot from some photographic modelling. Since then I've done various spells when civvy work has been short.

I have almost 8 years, but I do this work for a month or two months of work,
then a month or 2 or 3 weeks of rest when I return to Italy, when I'm there I clean up as a job,
in Italy I have a normal life, my son and many friends,
but I sincerely enjoy and I like my scort work a lot ...
because I spend a lot of time alone,
I make many of things when I'm not busy with clients,

For me its been properly full time for around 15 months now (although I have dipped my toe in and out for the past 3 years) For sure, for me this is a short term plan to help me achieve my long term goals. I have a lot of respect for WG who have done this for years and years. I cant see myself doing that, even though the money is addictive ;) but I know I would proper burnout and not give a great service. Another year or so for me and then crack on with my long term goals but this is the kind of work I would return to when needed. Well done all you wonderful ladies and even guys. It's been like 10 years now. I was popular for first couple of years but now business is slow. But I am okay with it and easier to manage my overall life with less volume of clients.
I can't seem to stop it because I don't see any reason why. Doing this for a decade now this is well settled my way of life. Looking back my past years it does seem like very long time especially when I see the girls leaving the industry only in few years even when they are very popular ones. I look back at my age and looks, not the youngest but I am still in early 30's and think for 10 more years I can be active without being too out of line.
I did try quitting but soon enough I had calling for my libido and one night stands were far more of hassle and complication compare to escorting. After 6 months I was back on the escorting.

I celebrated 9 years this month ( It was Easter Sunday 2009 ) and I was 40..
The only thing that makes me feel burned-out and frazzled sometimes is dealing with callers and the timewasters, as I am relatively low-volume.

Then 9 years later ‘retired’ had a relationship, got a vanilla job and plodded along for 6 years.
Relationship ended, I ended up hating my job so decided to come back, admittedly with a different name..but it’s now been nearly 6 years back in the biz and I’m loving it!
I love being self employed, the chance to work when it suits me, being able to be a doting grandmother and pick up my grandson from school, being able to have a day off when I want to…

I’d love to hear what it was like for you being young, Jessica, hopefully it was a positive experience. I started escorting full time at 17 and (mostly) loved it from the beginning. Although to be honest, I had learned I could convince men to buy me nice things or do favors before then. When I was younger, I loved older men to take care of me.
